how to: practice sword
what you need
lathe wood
sand paper
ducktape
saw
ok now what you do is take your wood and cut it down to the size you want
ok now turn the saws blade so it cuts at a angle
now cut a point on to the wood
ok now take your sand paper and go over the hole sword with it to make sure you don’t get any splinters.
now take the ducktape and rap it around the end (the end without the point)
and your done!
it easy and fast and fun
it only takes about 5 minuets to make one

Jun 15, 2006 7:41 pm - i practice kendo,the art of japanese swordfighting, and if i were to fight with this id break ither the sword (unlikley besaude the power in kendo comes from your movment, mainly in thelegs, notthe sword) or some1s bone. you kan buy a bokido, witch is this but much better (used for practacing alone) or a bamboo sword (used for practacing with another persom WITH the proper equitment) im going to give u a 2* for the effort.
Jun 15, 2006 9:22 pm - Well first of all, the title dosent match the egg, you said to practice but this is instructions to make one. yet for the quick and easy this is a decient sword so 4*. though i would highly suggest that you use a piece of oak and plane it down then add a wood hand guard because the true samurai sword must have a hand guard.

Jul 06, 2006 8:27 pm - even if its wood you can kill a person with that sword. onec in japan arealy long time agothis dude faught a guy using a bokken and the other guy using a realy deadly sword but the guy with the bokken killed the other dude so the point is its the matter of skill
