This is a remake of my original egg “semi auto paintball marker” so it hasn’t been copied from anyone but myself, but this time ive included a video which can be found here
http://s39.photobucket.com/albums/e177/professormuffin/?action=view¤t=100_2047.flv I only charged the gun to 80 psi in the vid so that’s why it may not seem as fast as 300 fps
To the egg
Things you need
1. a T connector (also known as a 3 way connector)
2. pvc pipe or paintball barrel (paintball sized)
3. pvc pipe (spud gun barrel sized)
4. a fire extinguisher (preferably co2 or ABE dry powder)
5. two spray can caps that fit well into the spud gun barrel
6. paintballs
7. a 12 volt air compressor that charges to 250 psi
8. a drill
9. a hot glue gun
10. and electrical tape
Part 1, the gun
1. cut some PVC pipe (paintball size) about 40 cm long and stick it through one side of the T connector and make sure it fits in well
2. cut about 10 cm of the same PVC pipe and apply hot glue to it and stick it to the barrel and make sure the T connector is vertical
3. drill a hole in the T connector as shown in the picture
4. wrap electrical tape on the other side of the T connector and make sure its air tight
5. insert the nozzle of the fire extinguisher into the hole you made
Part 2, the hopper
1. Cut about 20 cm of spud gun barrel sized PVC and push the spray can cap into the tube
2. Use a drill to make a hole in it where it shows in the pic
3. Now position the hopper onto the T connector and glue it in place with the glue gun making sure the PVC pipe is pointing down slightly so the paintballs will feed into the gun
Part 3, charging the gun
1. on the air compressor, cut the end connector off from the hose
2. push the hose into the nozzle of the fire extinguisher and wrap lots of electrical tape around it so it wont pop out when charging
3. plug the air compressor into either a battery pack or a car 12 volt outlet and the air compressor should turn on
4. while the compressor is running, push down on the trigger and hold it there until the psi reaches 195 psi
5. After that, release the trigger and undo the electrical tape and take out the hose.
6. now push the barrel/hopper onto the nozzle of the fire extinguisher (explained in step 3)
Part 4, shooting the gun
1. pour some paintballs into the hopper
2. push the other spray can cap into the other end of the hopper and make sure it is tight
3. simply pull the trigger for a quarter of a second for a single shot, half a second for a burst, and hold it down for full auto
If you have any problems with your gun or its not working, feel free to add me to msn and I can help you

Jun 21, 2006 6:50 pm - Very good idea, your a smart guy. Kinda like me, But I’m too lazy to do this kind of stuff, haha, and I like my marker anyway, so yeah. MiniAutomag Classic, with custom metallic blue trim, and 14 inch barrel... Anyway 5* Good Idea and you included lots of pics and a vid. Instructions were detailed.
1. on the air compressor, cut the end connector off from the hose
2. push the hose into the nozzle of the fire extinguisher and wrap lots of electrical tape around it so it wont pop out when charging
3. plug the air compressor into either a battery pack or a car 12 volt outlet and the air compressor should turn on
4. while the compressor is running, push down on the trigger and hold it there until the psi reaches 195 psi
5. After that, release the trigger and undo the electrical tape and take out the hose.
6. now push the barrel/hopper onto the nozzle of the fire extinguisher (explained in step 3)
do you really need all of that? if you just apply a CO2 fire exstinguisher, won’t that work aswell?
Jun 22, 2006 8:40 am - ive ive just experimented with some of my CO2 cartrigers and i found a way better way of filling up the extinguisher. get a nail and hammer and make the tiniest little hole in the canister as possible so it lets out a slow spray and then quickly drop it into the paintball air tank (the valve needs to be screwd off first) and then screw the valve back on fast and the gun will automaticcaly charge up, hopefully to the right air presure number needed to shoot the gun. p.s you can put more then one co2 canister in at a time
Jun 28, 2006 10:39 am - Well its good but... If you Use this Be careful on full auto (well just heed this warning cuz it could happen on any firing mode) If your gun stops firing DO NOT CONTINUE TO PULL THE TRIGGER (this is really stupid) ... not to mention your gun could explode...Great egg i 5’d it ... you mite be safer with a larger chamber on the back instead of tape ... heres what you do...
Add 1-4 inches of PVC or ABS piping to were tape was and add UNSCREWABLE CAP ... (this is for cleaning reasons) then you can just remove the cap and swab the barrel
