ok all you need to make a simple knife sheath for your leg or waist is:

-a roll of painters tape (wide blue masking tape)
-scissors
-tighty whities or boxers you dont like
-knife (duh)
-stapler

Ok, I’m poor and dont have a digital camera so i made pics on paint.

Take a piece of tape the size of the knife blade and stick it to the sticky side of another piece of the same size so you have one, nonsticky rectangle.

make 2 of those.

now put the knife between them and staple around the edge of the blade.

now cut out around the staples so the staples are still holding the pieces of tape together.

now get a piece of elastic from your boxers or tightie whities.

next staple the elastic on the sheath to make a band.

now you have a sheath with a stretchy band that probably wont show up on a metal detector if you use a wooden or plastic knife.

this can be used for protection or even if u break your sheath when hunting..

good egg, usefull for those who can get anything better, but you lose a point for having absolutely no paint skills what-so-ever, but a 4* and favs should work okay.

Woudn’t it make more sense to use duct tape, so you won’t poke yourself through it?

That’s how I made my boot holster, and it works perfectly.

My bro set off the metal detector at an airport because of the foil in his cigarette pack. They also took away gum.

nice idea i will add several laters and sew it instead of staple it. Good idea though. 4 stars
