Chapter 1
In this chapter of the egg, I will explain how to change the various sounds of windows.
This includes the start up sound, the logoff sound, and various others. If you dont know
what I am talking about, log onto another name and listen to the noise that it will make,
that is one of the noises you will be able to change.
This has only been tested on Windows XP
Directions
1. Go to "My Computer".
2. Click on "Local Disk". ( Ex. C: )
3. From there, go to the "Windows Folder".
4. Show the contents of the folder if you havent already. For those of who dont know how,
click on "Show the contents of this folder".
5. Inside of the Windows folder, find and click on the "Media" folder. It should be among a
group of other folders in alphabetical order.
6. Look at the names of the .WAV files. ( Ex. Windows XP Logon Sound, Windows XP
Shutdown, Windows XP Start
7. Keep that window open but then open up a folder with a .WAV file that you would like to
replace one of the "Media" folders clip with. ( Ex. "Hot girl moaning" for "Windows XP
Shutdown"
NOTE : It has to be a .WAV file so if it is in another format, you must convert it. I use "Switch"
to convert it.
8. Place the selected .WAV into the "Media" folder.
9. Select the .WAV out of the "Media" folder that you would like to replace it with and place it on
your desktop for now.
10. Copy the name of the .WAV that you just put on your desktop. Rename the new .WAV in the
"Media" folder to the copied name. ( Ex. Hot girl moaning renamed to Windows XP Shutdown.
NOTE : Create a folder containing the removed .WAV files so that you can change them back if you
ever want to.
Reasons to do this...
1. Replace the startup noise with...
A. Moaning
B. Swearing
C. Clip from Napolean Dynamite ( EX. Tina you fat lard! ). Or from The Ringer ( EX. When the fuck
did we get ice cream?!? Those are just clips that I had found on LimeWire.
D. You could also just replace it with a song that you like.
2. Replace the logging off sound with...
A. "Please dont leave me"
B. "See ya later nigga!" ( The Chapelle Show, also found on LimeWire. )
3. Replace the Hardware Insert with...
A. " Is that a penis?" ( Never done before, just a suggestion.)
I am sure that you can find more to do with these then I can.
In this part of the egg, I will explain what to do to the Windows Startup Folder and how to do it.
Getting to the "Startup" folder.
1. Go to the "Start Menu".
2. Go to "All Programs"
3. Go to "StartUp".
What this does
When you place something into this folder, it will run immediately after you start your computer and
log onto a name.
Ideas
1. Place normal porn in it for you.
2. Place Gay, Animal, Trans, porn in here on a different computer.
3. I havent tried this because I’m not that good with them but you may be able to place a batch
file into here and have it automatically run. This could stop a computer from being able to be
used again if you used a shutdown code. If someone could try with a simple batch code and
comment if it worked or not, it would be appreciated.
This part of my egg is about the misc. stuff you can do in the windows folder. Most of it you probably have
heard before but some people may not have.
When in the "Windows" folder.
1. Go to the Cursors Folder. Download a cursor that everyone would hate like a penis. Place it in the cursor
folder and delete the rest of the pointers. Then go and switch it to the hated cursor. Most people would
figure out how to change it back but not all of them.
2. Go to the "System" folder, delete the mouse driver and the keyboard driver.
I guess this is a really small part but some good part to do.
Chapter 4 And that is my egg. Always remember to comment with ideas and if someone could comment
on whether the batch file idea worked it would be really cool.

Jun 25, 2006 8:48 am - This is some cool stuff I did something similar to this but in MSN Messenger. You go Tools/Options alerts and sounds then you chose the sound you want to change from a list then browse for a new sound. I used sounds of counter strike 1.6 haha.
