Ok.. this involves being in a dorm where every room has a fridge of some sort. this is rediculously easy to pull off and there is little to no chance of being caught if done correctly. so here are the steps to successfully completing it:
1. get the dorm phone number of everyone on your floor, or even entire building.
2. call them at about 5-7 PM saying something like this:
"this is name from the maintenence staff here at your dorm. We’ve recieved word of a product recall for many of the refrigerators in our building, so if the back of your refrigerator has seemed overly hot, or hotter than an average refrigerator, it is should be replaced ASAP. for your privacy you can place the refrigerator outside tonight and we will check its version and whether it needs to be replaced with a new one. We will not be replacing them for a few more days, so you don’t need to worry about finding another place to keep your food cold. Thanks, and we are sorry for the inconvenience."
3. Answer any questions they may have assuringly
4. Once that part is done, the rest is just too easy. around 12-3 AM go up and down the hallways taking whatever you like out of their refrigerators.
Jul 01, 2006 6:20 pm - and since, of course, the back of all refrigerators will be hot, or atleast warm, they will be both worried about their current fridge, and also happy they might be getting a new one, so they will be fine about taking it outside for a night.

Jul 02, 2006 9:13 am - I seriously doubt that this would work. Nobody would want to sit their frige outside in the hallway. It would be more likely that you would just tell the person on the phone what type of frige you have and then do it like that. and even if somebody was stupid enough to put their frige in the hall, they would probably take their drinks out first as to not have them get stolen.

Wouldnt most people take out their stuff,even if they fall for this trick.
Anyways ill vote it a 3* cuz it would/should work atleast half the times
Nov 15, 2006 3:58 pm - Mate I don’t think there would be many people dumb enough to fall for that. If you wanna flog their drinks that badly you could just go into there room when they leave the door unlocked and take them. (but if you get a reputation for stealing drinks everyone will hate you).
