Alright everybody, in this egg im going to show you how i made a herb grinder out of materials found around the house. Why not just spend 20 bucks for a nice one? cuz im broke bitch. ok so here we go.
First off i shall try to explain what a herb grinder is. According to Wikipedia, a herb grinder Quote: can be made from a variety of materials including wood, plastic and metals. The herb grinder is a hand held device normally comprised of two cicrcular "lids" with pins or "teeth". The chosen herbs are placed in the grinder between the two parts and the grinder is repeatedly twisted. This results in a fine product so basicly it grinds up chyo weed so that what your left with is a fine smoking product that burns better then non grinded shit.
Materials Needed
One Altoids can -another good can is one of those bug repellent candles-which i used
Thin Cardboard
Small Finishing Nails -thumbtacks, whatever
and finally A Hot Glue Gun, and Glue
alright so you want to take your can
and remove its contents
after washing out the inside of the canister, you should have something like this
now you wanna take your cardboard and trace out 4 circles like so..
now you gotz this
alright good, take one of your cardboard cutouts and use a pencil to dot out were your finishing nails are going to go for the teeth of the grinder.
now that everything is marked use a pushpin to create holes for the nails.
tuh-duh
now stick that SOB into the tin and glue it down
and here’s the top
AND THE FINAL PRODUCT.
easy as 123

Looks good, but it doesn’t look like it would work well. Any pics of the final product? |

 | Jul 03, 2006 9:56 am - quite resourceful Good job..5*****... but it could be better ... instead of doing the pattern you did follow me instructions...
make one row on top each nail being about 3/4 cenimeter apart... then strattle the row on top so it would grind evenly...and smash the stuff better..
nice Buds ... ever tried salvia?? |

 | Jul 03, 2006 10:49 am - 5* just for bein a blazer, but really i dont think that would handle sticky ichy buds. |

 | Jul 06, 2006 12:09 pm - ok, this is easier. Get a shotglass, put your weed in there, and start chopping the weed in the cup with some small scissors, you can easily get it to powder. |

Quote: wouldnt work well go get a pestal and mortar works better Dont even try this. This kid is talking out of his ass. |

 | Jul 06, 2006 2:05 pm - i give you 5* but would point out that it seems a little sad that your knukle duster "happened" to be in the pics.......... its nice though! |

 | Jul 06, 2006 8:57 pm - ^actually that was on purpose... |

 | Ju 08, 2006 6:06 am - Grind up some weed with your homemade herb grinder and post the pic as the finished product because I want to see it works before I make it. |

 | Jul 26, 2006 4:05 am - brilliant man 5***** |

 | Aug 21, 2006 1:28 pm - I made one, same basic principle, but I put a + shape of nails on both sides... Works real good |

 | Oct 04, 2006 7:18 pm - wait this wouldnt work. youd need tacs on the other side to push the "substance" through so it would grind it up. otherwise when you twist it, the weed would just sit in place. maybe im wrong |

 | Oct 07, 2006 2:42 pm - it didnt work did it? fucking retard |
