Ok so heres my first egg and its on how to make a fake coke bottle with a hiding compartment.
So lets jump right in and get a materials list.
2x empty coke brand bottles.
1x full coke bottle, or a full can.
Hot glue and gun.
Exacto knife.
Scissors.
Clear scotch tape.
Ruler.
Black spraypaint for plastic.
Sharpie.
Plastic bagie.
Now for starting off, cut the top off one coke bottle with the exacto knife. Cut along the top of the label as best as you can.
Next, take the other empty bottle and cut a 1 1/2" strip from the mid section of the bottle. Make sure to keep the length of the strip at the maximum length. Throw the rest of that bottle away now.
Now fit that strip in the mid section of the bottle you cut earlier. Fit it inside as snug as you can. Once its in snug, carefully pull it out and use some clear scotch tape to keep them together.Scotch tape is best because it will not leak.
Slide the ring into the top half of the bottle so that its only in by a 1/8 of an inch. Add some peices of tape to hold it in place for your next step.
Next, put a small, thin bead of hotglue around the outside edge of the top half of the bottle where the ring connects. You want to get it glued good so that it wont leak.
Now that the top half and the ring have made a single peice cut about 5 half inch cuts in the bottom of the ring like so.
Pull the cuts together and glue them so that they are overlapped like this.
On the inside of the now overlapped cuts you need to put a good bit of hotglue on the seam so that it doesnt leak. Be careful to not let them pull apart as you heat it up.
Now with the bottom half of the bottle, place it on one sheet from the plastic baggie, and trace around it with a sharpie.
Cut out the circle from the sheet of the plastic baggie and hotglue/tape it to the bottom of the top half of the bottle. I say glue/tape because I had cover mine good so it wont leak.
Now what you have to do is spraypaint the inside of the bottom half of the bottle. Then fill up the top half with the coke so its not all the way full, but convincing none the less.
When you slide the top half into the bottom half of the bottle It looks just like an ordinary coke bottle and even has coke in the top half to make it look even more realistic.
Heres a pic of my mp3 player in the clear bottle to show how I hide it if we get searched at school.
Sorry I coulnt get a pic of the bottle with the bottom spraypainted and the top filled but just imagine a normal bottle of coke. Its the same thing.
you have to hide your mp3 players at school? i can walk through the halls listening to mine.
Damn straight we have to hide our mp3 players! They actually have the power to take them from us, and then have the balls to charge you 15 bucks to get it back.
