Chapter#1 intro
Well here is another helpful egg on making a fire-cracker (also known as an M-80). This is egg has been not c/p but it has many ideas from other people. I hope this makes sense because this is my first egg and im not quite sure if this look good or not so what you see is basically what you get (well that what my mom always says). So…….. Read enjoy and rate fairly.
Chapter#2 casing Materials:
Pen lid x1
Hot glue + Hot glue gun
Drill + 4mm drill bit (may be any size it matters about your fuse)
Step#1 place your pen lid upright.
Step#2 Plug your hot glue gun in and place one hot glue stick in and wait for hot glue gun to heat up this should take 3-8 minutes.0
Step#3 Yay…. now that your hot glue is all steamy pour a blob of hot glue down the pen casing it should be 2-5 mm tall. Now wait until the hot glue has dried this should take about 1-6 minutes of your life lol. While doing this get your drill at ready.
Step#4 Now that you have your drill plug it in and screw in your drill bit.
Step#5 Put your drill on HIGH and drill through the plastic at the top and then through the hot glue so you have a nice hole :0 and now you have completed your casing
Step#1 Collect 2 8-ring caps and cut ever cap individually off and set them on a piece of paper.
Step#2 Now here is the difficult part you have to get your sewing needle and stab it into the side of the cap and swirl (now be careful never ever put your face over the top of the cap while doing this because if you hit the centre of the cap it will explode now imagine doing this and the flash hits you in your eyes I did that and it kinda blinded me for a minute and it hurt!!!!!!)
Step#3 After you have swirled the powder it will be very easy to fall out :D so get your sheet of paper and put all of the powder on the sheet
Chapter#4 the fuse Materials:
Sparklers or matches or GP (gun powder)
Bowl
Cotton or any good string
Well there is a much easier way to get a fuse and it is just to use a sparkler for a fuse but you can’t make multi fire crackers out of the sparkler so if you would like a firecracker that you have to light throw and o more fun to it well that’s fine but I suggest making the fuses so you can bind the fuses together and make a continues firecracker (Yay)………….
Step#1 Get all of the dust off your sparkler or matches and place into a bowl

Step#2 Get a very small amount of water and add to the bowl now while doing this mix with a spoon until you have a paste (if most of it is still powder then add a little more water) repeat this step until it is a black lumpy liquid.
Step#3 Get your string or cotton or whatever you are using and place into the bowl make sure the string is completely covered in the substance (it doesn’t matter if it has lumps o it that’s fine.)
Step#4 Now that the string is soaked in the substance and if you have some powder from the matches or sparkler dust then crush it finely and sprinkle it over the string and leave this to dry I would do this bit outside because it gets a it messy.
Chapter#5 making the cracker
Everything you have made will be needed this includes:
The casing, the powder and the fuse
And your hot glue gun + hot glue
Step#1 Get your casing and fuse and put the fuse through the hole and into the firecracker. (Put this on a piece of paper because this step is a little bit messy)
Step#2 Get a piece of paper and make it into a cone funnel
Step#3 Put the funnel into the firecracker casing with the fuse in it.
Step#4 Put the powder from the caps onto a piece of paper and pour it done the funnel and into the firecracker
Step#5 Now get your hot glue gun and plug it in and leave for 5 mins
Step#6 Now that your hot glue gun is all hot put your cracker upside down and squeeze a blob of hot glue down there you can just do 1 cm or you can do it properly and fill the rest up all the way(so it looks properly done and it will work a little better)
Step#7 Now you can paint it a colour or just leave it I painted mine black and put the |A| anarchy seal on it :D
Chapter#6 multi cracker :o
You will need 1+more firecrackers with homemade fuses and some tape
There is two ways of doing this step. I suggest WAY#1 but the other way works as well and it’s louder.
WAY#1 Get your crackers that are made and do a cross string action like this:

WAY#2 Get your fire crackers and tape the casings together all of them facing upwards and twirl all of the fuses together and get hot glue to bind them so they satay still

How long did this take you to make this egg? This took me 2 days one day finding the best way to make the firecracker and the next day making the egg

Jul 10, 2006 3:44 am - haha you have a different style of eggs...never seen it before almost like your were writing a book...its a nice change...i like it some dumasses might call you a "homo" for doing it this way so just keep your cool in advance..i cant figure it out but when some one puts effort into an egg they are usually called a homo for it..5 btw and favs

btw, why do you all insist on taking the powder out of the ring caps in such a dumb ass way? i would make an egg about it but it will be kinda short and would probably get low rating
Jul 10, 2006 9:18 am - ?? Why not just get some of "the works" liquid toilet bowl cleanser and aluminum foil and put in in a bottle? A lot faster and probably louder. Very inventive idea though 4*
Jul 10, 2006 9:50 am - LOL! I just made a PVC firecracker with BP. It was loud as fuck so I stayed in and watched it behind a window. It fuckin set car alarms off! 4*s for your egg, but there weren’t and pics on how to make it.
Jul 10, 2006 10:38 pm - Cool! One thing though...an M-80 is not a firecracker.
An M-80 was created to replicate the explosion of a grenade, without the shrapnel, so u can just imaging the explosion (it was used to practice with). M-80’s are capable of putting a hole in plywood, and your firecracker is barely capable of causing a burn.
