Dress up in a costume that conceals any "human" looking aspect of yourself. Make yourself look as much like a statue as you can. My friend dressed up in a werewolf outfit with a mask and some fake teeth. basically you want to look fake. Next, go out on your front yard, where the trick-or-treate will pass. Then, take a large chunk of wood, and prop yourself on it. Put it on your back and lean into it, so it looks like the wood is holding you up. simply stay still till they come over, and then freak them out. when my friend did it he had a guy come up to him and go "wow he looks so real" then the guy puts his hand in my friends mouth and was feeling his teeth. then my friend scared the CRAP out of that guy. He jumped so far and screamed like a little girl. makes it all worth it.
