I am going to tell you how make a homemade firecracker in five easy steps. You can get all the supplies at Walmart.
What your going to need:
Gunpowder (I used a model rocket engine ground up)
Ping-Pong Ball
Something easy to cut with(exacto kinfe works best)
Electrical tape
Fuse
Morning Glory Powder (sparkler powder)
First Your going to need the gunpowder. If you use the model rocket engine you only need them in chunks not totally ground up.
Second Take the exacto knife and cut a three sides of a square and fold it out.
Take the gunpowder and pour it into the ping pong ball or if you have chunks just put them in whole. Then take the sparkler powder and put it in with the gunpowder.
Third Take the black electrical tape and tape the cover back over. Kepp taping in circles and get almost all of the yellow but leave about 1/2 cm. of yellow open.
Fourth Take the exacto knife and cut a small cross where the yellow is. Cut or make a piece of fuse about 3-4 inches long and stick in where the cross cut was made.
Fifth Take somewhere light and run. Don’t hold it in your hand since it can and most likely will shoot flaming tape. It will also make a decent cloud of smoke.

Jul 15, 2006 2:08 am - I rated you 1* because this isn’t a very good egg... pingpong balls won’t explode well, but it’ll burn nicely. This is an idea that has been egged to death (no punn intended).. just slightly different materials used except for the tape and fuse. When your egg is just a rendition of multiple other eggs, you can’t expect good ratings

Jul 15, 2006 2:33 am - ok well thanks for the 5 nuke and i get what you say with that its been posted before but i haven’t really seen it as well as explained but oh well and ya you can scrape the powder off the sparkler if that the kind you have i have morning glorys and the powder is in a tube that is connected to a stick so just pop open the tube is what i do

Jul 17, 2006 8:24 am - sparklers arent anything like black powder or anything explosive, instead they are actually a type of ground up mettal. i know this is true because i read it from somewhere. i need some more proof of course.
