EVERYONE LIKES PANCAKES, WETHER YOU CALL EM FLAP JACKS, PAN-JACKS,FLAP-CAKES, THEY ARE GREAT.
These recipies are all my idea, but you may know this. But I do these and taste great!!!!!
This recipe will show you how to really give some power into the ordinary "shake ’n’ bake" pancake mix you can buy in the store.
RAISIN LEMON DELUXE
What you will need:
• Greens “Shake ‘n’ Bake” Pancake Mix
• 1 Egg
• Margarine
• Raisins
• Bottled Lemon Juice or 1 Lemon
• Water
• Ice Cream
• Jam (I use Yackandandah Gourmet Jam)
Assuming you’ve got all that done, we can procceed. Now, Sorry but I do NOT have a picture of the finished product, as I ate it this morning, just before comming up with the idea of posting this yummy food product as an egg.
Anyway...
You will also need a frying pan, butter knife, big mixing bowl, wooden spoon, gas stove, plate, and the other neccessaries (knife and fork, etc).
Now I prefer to do this the old fashioned way, mixing it by wooden spoon, as I like the consistency made by it rather than a Mix Master.
Ok. Pour the Pancake Mix Powder into the bowl. Add the egg and a dash of water. Mix this all together untill it has a nice consistency and no lumps.
When this is done, add a dash of lemon juice. Mix in thoroughly.
Now; Spread the raisins around, then mix them into the mix.
Let all this to sit for a few minutes, now the preperation for cooking!!
Put the frying pan on the stove after lighting the burner. The front Left one, or the biggest on your stove, as they all vary.
Now, make sure it is on a low heat! YOU DONT WANT UR STUFF TO BURN! But it does take a few tries to get it right.
When the pan is heated up, put on about a table spoon of margarine and slide it all over the pan surface.
Give the pancake mix a bit more mixing, then its time to cook it!!
Pour small dolops of the mix on to the pan, or if your more advanced at flipping, bigger amounts of mix into the pan.
Leave for a bit, and keep checking underneath the pancake untill its golden brown. When it is, flip over!!
And when its nice golden brown on the other side, scrape up and put on to a plate.
TOPPING!
Ok. So your pancakes came out excellent! EXCELLENT! If not, keep trying!
So, now, you wanna put topping on the pancake.
Scoop some jam out (I’d reccommend blackberry jam, and the gourmet stuff as well), and spread all over the pancake.
Now, get some ice cream and put medium scoops onto the pancake (or how big ur pancake is)...
And your ready to EAT!!!
I’d advise to eat with a knife and fork as it is messy. But if you dont have any dignaty, feel free to eat with ur hands or even feet. Or if your reaaally sick, like my frend’s cousin Frank, eat it with your genitals....

I know that I am gonna get made fun of so bad about saying this. I like that RE has so many people submiting recipes, cause the Recipes that go on are really good ones like; this one, how to make iced cappuccino, and someone ones in the kitchen with reefer. Just thought i put in my 2 cents |
