The idea for this is to make a home made bow more accurate. To do this you need to first make the bow.
The materials you will need are:
-Wood
-Elastic, Bow Strink, Rubber Rope (found at
hardware stores)
-Thin Dowels, these will be your arrows( I
reccomend ones that can fit in an electric
pencil sharpener)
-Metal pipe (Dowels MUST fit snuggly into pipe
otherwise the arrows will go down and rub on
the bottom of the pipe, causing it to lose
momentum)
To make:
1. Cut out shape of bow into piece of wood.
2. Let the bow sit in the water for about 1 or two
days
3. Fine tune the shape of the bow to look something
like this.

Jul 17, 2006 8:16 am - the egg would be great if it had pics, but bows dont use elastic string they use non stretch string with bendy wood. allthough i havnt used a wooden bow for ages ive kinda moved on to mettal and carbon bows. 4****
