this is how to make a little rocket out of alot of match heads and some foil.
materials - a box of matches
- large hammer (a regular sized hammer works just as well but it usually works better if its a large hammer)
- foil (i used a heavier foil than normal, so it doesnt just blow up)
- a solid flat surface (not wood, try a cinderblock or a garge floor)
Prodecure 1. line the top of the flat surface with a sheet of foil (so the stuff doesnt get stuck in cracks and it can be moved)
2. get a match and lay the match down on its side and tap with the head of the hammer while rolling it back and fourth until all the red stuff falls off
3. repeat step 2 alot (like 30 times makes a big rocket)
4. take a long sheet of foil about 2 inches high and 3 feet long (so it doesnt blow up)
5. wrape the foil around your pinky finger until it makes a tube
6. pich and wrap the open end of the tube WHILE IT IS ON YOUR FINGER STILL!
7. take the little pointy ended tube off of your finger
8. load the red dust into the foil
9. take a 1x1 peice of paper towel and put it on top of the open end and then take a skrew driver and push in on the middle
10. take lighter, match, aim and flame, whatever that has a flam and light it and hold it up to the back, it should go pretty far (as in like 7 feet)
well, rate fairly cause i used about 20 boxes of matches in trying to make this thing.
