You will need
1. A few soda chargers (also known as CO2 canisters)
2. Small glass bottles with caps
3. A square of flat wood about 1 cm thick
4. A nail
5. And a hammer
How to build
1. hammer a nail into the flat piece of wood and make sure it sticks all the way through
2. Slowly hammer the CO2 canister onto the nail. This is really important to do it slowly or otherwise the CO2 will come out real fast. You want it to have a slow spray of CO2
3. once you get a slow spray of CO2, quickly drop it into the bottle and screw the cap on real tight
4. leave the bottle to inflate for about 10 minutes until you cant hear it spray anymore
5. go to a big area with concrete ground and throw the bottle as far as you can and let it land on the concrete
This is very dangerous. I suggest if you use this then go to a big area with concrete stretched about 50 meters by 50 meters because the first time I used this I had a glass piece of shrapnel go into my shoulder from 15 meters away and believe me it hurt like hell.

Jul 18, 2006 8:46 am - Not sure why you wouldn’t use a paintball marker CO2 container + a bottle + tube + nail attached to base. That way when you toss the bottle in the air, the CO2 container coming down on the nail would rupture it, making it explode almost instantly a distance away. If you’re going to do something, do it right at least, this egg is kinda lame at best.

Jul 19, 2006 2:39 am - Family guy, exploding is where big pressure expands in a small container and it rips open the container and shoots the shrapnel out. Canisters don’t do that. They let the air out of a small hole really fast like a rocket but im explaining how to make it spray slowly and I don’t think that rockets explode

Jul 21, 2006 12:38 am - the grenade (when exploding) actually sounds really horrible with the boom and the glass breaking sound. oh and the grenade i was gonna use for the video actually exploded in my hands due to a weak bottle and me trusting it too much because usually i have it under lots of blankets on my bed so i wont die from my mother complaining out the bang but this time it really did explode in my hands so if you wanna make this im telling you to be extra carefull

i think both of you are geting mixed up by those CO2 canister bombs. not the cratermakers but the one with sparkler shavings around the full CO2 canister. they do in fact explode because the burning of the sparkler shavings melts the casing which makes it weaker therefor making it explode
Oct 24, 2006 10:24 am - this is pretty cool, im going to fill the bottom of a plastic bottle with airsoft bb’s and try it like that before using a glass bottle, luckily I live right next to a school, so I have a playground, a basketball court, two baseball fields and plenty of room for this. 5*
Apr 06, 2007 11:50 am - very good but i would suggest puncturing the Co2 cartridge with a sewing needle for extra safty and more Co2 for the explosion(i no,i no,no fire)

oh and for you retards,Co2 is not flamable,it can explode (but only the big ass CO2 things for good paintball markers and stuff,and only if its puncture some were besides the Co2 release valve(the thing near the O ring))
