First Off I searched the Egg Directory and i did not find ONE egg with what im about to show you. If you find one im sorry, i did not see it.
Also, id like to say, almost every fuse egg i saw, worked perfect ... if you have Gunpowder & potasium nitrate and whatever else chemicals you need.
Then i noticed, the Fuses that could be made at home,
would never work half the time because they need "air" to work
(In other words, there no good for something like a pipe bomb or match-head bomb because the fuse will not work in it. Dont belive me? Try it, ive used almost every fuse on this site and NONE of them work. (excluding ones using Chemicals)) But enough talk. Here is how to make a Perfect Fuse (works jsut as good the fuses used on fireworks)
Materials ~Matches~ (Paper matches work best)
~Tape~ (Duct Tape works best)
~Scissors~
Like This Picture
Step 1 Take your tape, and cut a piece off. (It burns at about 2.5inchs a second, so rember that to how much tape you cut.) Then cut off enough Match-heads to your appropraite desire. (for the fuse im showing you, its about 3 inchs long, and has about 25-30 match heads.)
Step 2. Take your Match heads and put them along the tape, and make sure you have atleast 4 match heads left over.
Step 3.
Roll the tape over the matchs (this part can get really frustrating sometimes, especially if using Duct Tape.)
Now all you have to do, is make sure there matches sticking out of both ends (but so there not falling out.) This is also where the left over match heads come in, if there isnt any match heads sticking out of the ends, just simply place the leftovers in. (make sure the newly placed match heads are touching another match head, or it will not work
Once you have completed all of this, simply place the Fuse into your "object" and light.
I give you a 100% guarantee it will work, if you followed my instructions exactally. If not, rate everything i have a Zero.
Here is what a Finished Product may look like.
!!Im not implying anyone builds bombs, this is jsut for informational purposes only.
Jul 20, 2006 4:11 am - this is thee best fuse out there, all the ones with black powder and shit.... People dont realize we’re using the powder on the bomb we’re blowing up
lol 5* favs
Jul 20, 2006 7:37 am - nice work mate 5* oh and i do remember seeing an egg on this the other day but it may have been deleted. Oh and orangejuice are you from australia????
ep 23, 2006 9:54 am - . eh, it does work..
but, it can depend on the matchs you use,
and also, if you dont cut the match heads close enough to the end
(and leave to much of the wood on)
It will make it unusable, becuase it wont catch the next match.
OR, another thing that ive seen is, the matchs are to far apart, or there isnt enough?
(it could possibly be the tape to)
Mar 31, 2007 4:27 am - this is exactly the same as jack the rippers egg except he used cellotape since its easy to burn, plus it isnt perfect, its better making a chlorate fuse which is harder but requires less effort and is more efficient in the long run, chlorate fuse materials can be buaght off ebay for like £2, and its enough to make a metre of fuse. 2*
Nov 15, 2007 9:02 pm - faster way lay your tape out sticky side up, stick matches to it by laying heads of them on tape, do it just like this egg but without cutting matches. so you should have a long line of matches all side by side with a piece of tape along the heads, lay another piece of tape face down over it, seal it together as best and cut all the matchsticks off with whatever. trim up the edges of the tape and you should have same result as this egg, only without having to cut up matches individually.
