In this egg I will be explaining how to make a paper tube, Used for god knows what(I think YOU can figure it out yourself) This tube is good because you can modify it in different ways, i.e make the walls thicker, make it longer, shorter, thinnerand thicker.
What you need: 1 Piece of A4 paper
Ruler
Hobby knife
Drawing utensil
Hot glue gun
A hot glue stick
Step 1 Put your ruler down the side of the page and use your drawing utensil to draw a line. You can make the tube longer by ruling 2 lines next to eachother, or even more lines.
Step 2 Using your hobby knife, Cut down the line to get a thin strip of paper.
Step 3 Wrap the thin strip of paper around the thing your using to make the width of your tube. I used a permanent texta but you could use anything from batteries to film cannisters, use your imagination
Step 4 Stop wrapping when there is about 2cms of paper left unwrapped. Put a line of hot glue down the end of it and roll it up so it sticks.
Step 5 Get the rest of your paper and put a big blob of hot glue on it. Put your tube (either way) down onto the paper and let the glue dry. Around the top of the tube put a line of hot glue so the papers ont rip apart.
Step 6 Cut around the bottom of your tube. Go around over the gaps at the bottom with hot glue.
This is your finished tube.
Compared to a film canister
Once you want to make a hole to put something through the end, drill the size of the hold you want either through the side or through the glued up end. Fill the tube with what you want then glue up other end.

Jul 24, 2006 11:02 am - wow, people really are retarded here. They can be used for making fireworks, such as firecrackers, jumping jacks and rockets, ect. 5*s man, but I’ve been making my own tubes for a while now.

But firecrackers are illegal? i just dont get it.
