Chapter 1

Have you ever been relaxing or eating and some smart ass wasps come over and ruin you\’re peace and dinner?

Ever been stung by one of those stupid striped things? Hurts like hell, doesn\’t it.

Want to know how to trap them? Then here\’s the egg for you......

things you will need

For this you will need a bottle with one of those pull up lids, some scissors, some duck tape, super glue (optional) sugar and water.

Using the scissors take the white cap of the bottle

That should look like this

now there should be a plastic thing pointing upwards. Rip that off

It should now look like this

using the scissors cut the top of the bottle of like so

This bit is quite tricky so I\’m going to try and explain but please don\’t have a go at me if you don\’t understand. Take the top half of the bottle and place it upside down in to the gap.

Now if you have super glue to rienforce it you can glue it in place. The bottle should now look like this

When the glue is dry and you\’ve got the top half in properly you can start to tape it.

When you\’re sure you\’ve taped it so its water proof you can make you\’re solution. This should be one cupful of water with 5 teaspoons of sugar (i added honey in mine for extra effect)

Add the solution by turning the bottle to its side and pouring some in.

Turn the bottle upside down and there\’s you\’re trap. Just make a simple hanger and hang it on a tree. Here\’s the finished product.

The wasps fly in through the bottom attracted by the sugared water and once there in they can\’t fly out again (they can\’t fly down) and they drown of tiredness.

These are disposable but are really easy to make and really useful, once I caught 186 wasps in one before (Yes, I was bored enough to count)

Well... That was my egg. Its not copied and took some time to make so please rate fairly

YAY! 5* I have a wasps nest right beside of my front door. The stupid spray stuff doesn’t really work right, but I might just have to make one of these if it kills 100+ wasps!

\you can also throw gruit and other things in it, if the hole is big enough. Make a hole on top , (not too big) Then pour solution into there, and stop it up with newspaper. < easier meathod of filling.

Uhh, this takes too long compared to the easy way. Take a 2 liter bottle, take off the cap, put some sugar water in it. They go in attracted to sugar but cant figure out how to get out.
