Here it is, as promised.
Well I noticed that other theft eggs were still floating around so I decided to do this one, although weather or not is is one is still up in the air. If it gets dropped its gets dropped, after all its not like I ca’t afford 50 egg points lol and a promise is a promise.
It seems like everyone wants to see the hero fail and die trying lol (like the Green Goblin said) and they want to see GMT get caught. Sorry it didn’t happen, but there were a few times that it almsot did. That’s going to have to be good enough.
Well where to begin...lets see the closest I actually came to getting caught was when I happened to spy a nice looking denim purse in a green car with the windows rolled up. It was in one of those damned cars that you can’t tell if they were locked and I was back in my salad days when I thought every car would jsut open up for me when I touched them. Needless to say it didn’t and the woman and her boyfriend saw me through the window and came out screaming. I think they thought I wanted the car lol. Luckily it ws kinda dark and they couldn’t really see me, but I didn’t stick around to wait and see what they were goign to do. I high tailed it, glad I had grabbed the car handle with my shirt as not to leave prints. Didn’t get the bag though, which sucked.
I’ve deal with so many car alarms its not fnny so I won’t bore you with any of those.
Another time I was almost caught was when I was doing a little "feeding" at the hospital where I volunteered. The nurses and whatnot all went to lunch about 11:30 and I would make my rounds going from office to office with the pretense of picking up papers to be shredded while I would take a ten or twney (at most 30) from their bags and move on. One day I was doing this (and thankfully I had the forsite to lock the door to the office behind me while I was goign through the MDS woman’s fannypack. Next thing I know I hear the door nob start to turn and then her say "I must have locked it, shit..." I thought I was screwed until I saw that the keys were still in her pack and she would have tog et security to open the dorr. I pocket the twenty and then climbed out the window to her office (thank God it was on the first floor) and promptly fell into some rose bushes. Pickign the thorns out of my ass I quickly made my back around to the otherside of the office and counted my lucky stars.
Normally I never have any trouble on the street, after all its real easy to make a quick fade when something goes down but there was this one time that it nearly did...I saw this couple together and the woman’s purse was as easy as a one piece puzzle, which meant I was drawn to it like a homing missile. I did the did and dipped the bag, but the guy she was with seemed to notice how close to her purse I had gotten because all of a sudden he stops her and tells her to look in her bag as I am walking away fast but not running. Needless to say she noticed right off the bat that her bag was open and then that her wallet was missing, afterwhich her guy started yelling...right about that time I had round the corner on the street. I don’t know if the guy followed me cause I ducked down two alleys and came out on the otherside of the block but he might have. That was way to close for the messly 50 bucks I got from doign it, if only he’d been looking the other way I’dhave simply walked away without a worry.
There you go, hope you enjoyed these stories on how I nearly fucked up. I have more stories if you want them...technically this isn’t a lift egg so ner ner!
