A rubber band gun is a gun made from wood. It has a 12 round spur wheel. The gun shoots rubberbands. The rubber band guns are quite safe and are a cheap and easy alternative to airsoft and can be played indoors and out. In this egg, i will be explaining a few different loading techniques.
The Basic 12
Ammount of rubber bands required: 12
Simply load 1 band on each peg.
The Magnum
Ammount of rubber bands required: 12 small, wide rubber bands
Load the smaller rubberbands for added sting, power, distance, and accuracy.
Semi Auto Shotgun
Ammount of rubber bands required: 36-48
Load 3-4 bands on each peg.
12 gauge
Ammount of rubber bands required: 12-24
Load 12 bands on the first. 12 is about the limit before they start slipping off. If your strong enough, you could load 2 pegs with 12 bands each.
Note: noticable recoil. (avoid head shots)
Slugster
Ammount of rubber bands required: 5
Twist all 5 bands together and load it on. they should stay together as a mass of flying rubber.
Rifling
Ammount of rubber bands required: 12
Twist each band around the barrel before you load. The bands actually spin giving you a straighter flight.
Crowd Reducer
Ammount of rubber bands required: 16
Simply load the 12 bands on normally, then on the last one, put on 4 more bands. your first shot will be a 5 band shotgun, the 11 rounds.
Bigger magazine
Ammount of rubber bands required: 24
Load 12 bands on the keep going around until theres 24 bands on the spur. note: it gets pretty tough to pull the wheel back after about 15 bands.

if you get thick ones they hurt, but not the normal ones.
Aug 11, 2006 11:51 am - I make the real thing yeah, just wanted to let you know that the ones you buy pre-made look like crap. i make my own after i get the parts. i have 2 different ones with picture on my profile already. check them out. you might want to do the same.
