OK, This is my first egg so hopefully it\’s a good one.
This egg will teach you how to make a very easy blowgun and how to build darts for it.
(Materials) For the blowgun you will need the following:
. A tube about 1 1/2 feet long (1/2 inch diametre)
. An empty soft-drink bottle without the lid
. A roll of sticky tape
(Tools) For the blowgun you will need the following:
. A sharp razorblade or scissors (I used a razorblade)
. Half a brain!
Start by cutting the top of the bottle of with the razorblade or scissors. This will be your mouth piece
It should look like this after you cut it.
Then take the tube and the sticky tape and wrap the tape around one end until the tube fits snuggly into the mouthpiece.
Tape it like that ^^^
Then attach the mouthpiece to the tube.
Your blowgun is now completed.
Now for the darts.
You will need:
. A post-it note
. A wire coathanger
. Wire cutters
. A file
. More sticky tape
Take the coat hanger and cut the long straight piece off the bottom like so:
Put this straight piece of wire aside for a moment.
Roll the post-it note into a narrow-ish cone like so:
Take your razorblade or scissors and cut the back off the same diametre as the inside of the blowgun tube like so
Add sticky tape to strengthen the cone.
Now take the straight piece of wire and sharpen one end on the file. Now feed it through the back of the cone and out the front untill the wire isn\’t sticking out the back at all but about half an inch is inside the cone. secure it with tape.
To fire the gun all you have to do is put your mouth upto the mouthpiece (duh) and blow a strong, fast breath through with the tube pointing at your target.
You can get really accurate with a bit of practice.

Aug 07, 2006 6:08 pm - am I the only one who now hates every single blowgun egg...I mean, COME ON! there’s been at least 10 in the last month. don’t get me wrong, blowguns are perty cool, I’m just sick of people trying to teach us how to make em. 3*s cuz it’s actually fairly well made, but there are tons of these eggs.

Now as for the blowgun a fair few people already know this but its still good and using the end of the bottle is a great idea. 5 stars.
Aug 08, 2006 5:44 am - yes i do know who HIM is. Some of my favorite songs are "and love said no" & "buried alive by love". The heartagram was made by the lead singer of HIM Ville Valo as a symbol that they put love into their music. A lot of people think that the heartagram is Bam Margera’s symbol because he has it on most of his merchandise. The reason he is allowed to use it is because Bam and Valo a friends and Bam has permission to. So hopefully that proves that i dont just have a heartagram because of Bam "neurocide".
