I figured this out from a science book I read when I was like 10, so I didn’t do this myself, but it comes in handy for just about anything. This Is a method of making plastic out of just milk and vinegar. This plastic can be molded into anything you want, for repairs, cases to things, and anything imaginable.
Materials: -300mL of Milk (vitamin D works best)
-1 Tablespoon of Vinegar
-A Strainer
-A Spoon
-A Saucepan
-A Bowl
Procedure: -Warm the milk in a saucepan without boiling it.
-Add a tablespoon of vinegar and stir it in.
A thick, white material will form in the milk. This is something called cassein that will make your plastic.
-Strain the milk through the strainer, into the bowl, and shake it around carefully until it holds only the sludgy stuff.
-Now form the cassein into your chosen mould or shape it with hands to desired shape and allow to dry and set.
I use this method for just about everything I can think of, it works great.
again: I did not make this up, I got it out of a book years ago and I wanted to share it.

Aug 10, 2006 4:23 am - Kinda works 1*, firstly because i very nearly sick from the smell, secondly because once you have the cassein its not very easy to mould, it falls apart real easy, and thirdly because i saw an egg on this topic like 1-2 weeks ago, altho this was better described.
Aug 10, 2006 5:51 am - Tell you what tho, this is usefull for something. Next time i have cereals with hot milk im gonna use vinegar to get the burnt milk off the pan.Works a treat!!! Its normally a bitch to get off and takes loads of scrubbing.
Aug 10, 2006 2:53 pm - Dude..This is not plastic, its more of a Sludge. Your casein is not plastic or nething close. Casein is phosphoprotein, and if you wanted to make plastic out of this stuff you would need enzymes, Stronger acid then Vineger, and a Binder. srry *1 for trying
