How-To Handprint Turkey

You can make these KICK ASS paper turkeys by tracing around your own hand! The thumb becomes the turkey’s head, the other fingers become the feathers and the palm becomes the body. Make several to use as placemats or anything else you can think of.

-Place your hand onto a piece of brown construction paper and trace around your hand and in between fingers with a black felt-tip pen or black marker. Make sure that the fingers are spread out really flat on the paper.


-Cut out your handprint along the lines.

-Use a black marker or black crayon to draw in the turkey’s eye and mouth on the thumb part of the hand you cut out.


-Use crayons or markers to color the other finger parts of the cutout. You can also cut out four different colors of construction paper to make cutouts that fit each "feather." Glue these "feathers" onto the cutout.

-Cut out a small, red peice of construction paper to glue on the neck of the turkey. This will make the waddle.


-You can now cut out little feet from orange construction paper, or leave as is.

These awesome turkeys can now be placed around the house for decoration or just to impress your friends.

I have a trick with those turkies, stare at the smile on the pic at the top and after a while you realise you face looks sad and you get scared. I felt like screaming at the hands of this mad turkey
