Lift Kit for Hummer or F-150 EVO

THIS ONLY LIFTS THE BODY NOT THE CHASSIS


Alright, this egg is on a lift kit for Xmod’s, they are 1/28 scale RC Cars that can go to speeds of up to 99 kmh on a Kamiya Speed Tester. Here is a video of one that goes 30 mph. http://video.atomicmods.com/Speed_Test_Nuke_130SM_Small.wmv
On to the tutorial.

Homemade Lift Kit.

Materials:
Needle Nose Pliers
Two bic clicky pens.
Your Xmod Evo (It looks crappy on anything other than the Hummer or F-150)

1. Disassemble both of the pens as shown below.

2. Remove the spring from the shaft.

3. Trim the springs to the height you would like with the cutters on the needle nose. I thirded mine.
4. Add screws to your Evo. On the Hummer this is where you add them (circled in red)

5. Put the springs on the screws. You will have to stretch the end of the spring some how. I stuck the edge of the needle nose into the end part of it and widened it out. This is what they should look like.


YOU CANNOT INSERT THE BODY INTO THE CLIP!
Stock;

With lift kit;

Only do this if you are showing off. When it is time to race i would remove the springs because the body is not that stable. When You go around a turn it might flip and fall off.

You may say that Xmods are gay, stupid or whatever, but it is something that requires intermediate skills with electronics, body work, and soldering. It is a hobby in a way and it is also something that can train you.

It is electric, it runs on four AAA batteries stock, but you can upgrade it to 2 lithium ion batteries to make it faster off the line and on top speed. Go here for upgrades and tutorials.

to lift the entire chassis just unscrew a few turns the topscrews that the wheels pivot on, dont go too far though or the thing will come out when u go around a turn.
