Overview
What I’m showing you today is a great, but still developmental, extension for Firefox (all versions) that allows you to hide the browser in a split second.
Needed
Mozilla Firefox
The Tutorial
First open up Firefox and go to the following location, https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2278/, and click here.
Wait for about five seconds, and click install.
It should finish rather quickly.
After it’s done, close Firefox.
Open it again. Look at the bottom right corner.
The Video, and it’s issues.
Well, I did record a video, but enabling Ghost-Browsing screwed it up.
The video only works on IE, and when it does work, it may or may not look completely screwed up for some people. You can still understand it a little bit, but I’ve typed up the procedure in the following part for those who don’t undertsand the video.
http://media.putfile.com/Ghost-Fox
The Text
Start off by enabling Ghost-Browsing.
Now make sure you have room in at least one direction, that is outside of FF’s window, and that FF has another program behind it.
When you want to hide FF, go off the windows, and it will disappear.
To now embed it into the program behind it, touch the mosue pointer to the absolute left, absolute right, and back to the absolute left.
It will not embed itself into the program behind it, looking like a part of the program, rather than a web browser.
Now when you wish, you can make it normal again, click the "Ghost-Bust" button, and it will go back to normal.
Remember that if you go outside the page’s area while embeded, FF will hide itself once again. You can bring it back the same way.
The End
This has many uses.
Browsing at work, at school, parents, siblings, etc.
Be creative.
Remember, it isn’t perfect, but it’s always updating, so download the newer versions!
Thanks for reading,

 | Aug 11, 2006 6:41 pm - You could just use acehide, and it works for ne program, from what im reading it pretty much does the same thing. That is hide whatever your looking at, allso it taks it off the task bar at the bottom. |

Wow. I can’t believe the level of sheer stupidity you have swarming around you. I didn’t make the video only function in IE, the strange properties of GhostFox made it happen.
Go fuck yourself noob. |
