in case you don’t know, pressure bottle explosions, or "pressure bombs" are various chemicals put into a 2-litre bottle or glass container which react, build lots of pressure, and explode. if a glass container is used, there will be lots of shrapnel so stand far back and hide behind something. these are also very loud
here are the ones I will be using in this egg.
remember u take full responsibility in making these things so practice common sense. (unless ur lazy like me then fuck it)
A. drano and aluminium foil
B. dry ice and water
C. bleach and alcohol
D. baking soda and vinigar
E. diet coke and mentos
F. sparkler in a bottle
A.DRANO AND FOIL
1.fill the bottle 1/4 with drano
2.lightly crumble some aluminium into balls or strips and add enough to the bottle to cover the aluminium
3. screw on the cap tight, shake it up and set it or throw it
B.DRY ICE AND WATER
1. put enough small pieces of dry ice into the bottle so its a little more than 1/4 full
2.fill the bottle with water so it’s a little less than 1/2 full.(warmer water will produce a faster reaction and vice versa.)
3. screw on the cap and throw.
C.BLEACH AND ALCOHOL
1.fill the bottle with equal parts bleach and alcohol unill it’s about 1/4 full
2.swirl it around a little(dont shake it to much as this is a fast reaction)
3. screw on cap and throw
D.BAKING SODA AND VINIGAR
1. this is a VERY fast reaction so just mixing and throwing wont work here.
2. one way to do this is add baking soda until the bottle is 1/4 full.
3. partially insert a plastic bag into the mouth of the bottle and fill it with vinegar
4. tie it off and push it into the bottle(dont break it)
5. put on the cap and throw it hard enough to break the bag
E. DIET COKE AND MENTOS
1.this one is pretty much for fun and wont hurt anything,and it wont explode unless you throw it at something hard.
2. take a whole bottle of coke and QUIKLY ADD about 12 mentos and screw on the cap
3. throw it.
F. SPARKLER IN A BOTTLE
1. this one requires a glass container and is very simple to make and will explode violently and send shrapnel everywhere. (hells yeah)
1. cut off the extra wire and light the sparkler and put it in the bottle.
2. screw on the cap tight and throw it, it will take about half the sparkler to build enogh pressure to explode.
Aug 12, 2006 10:20 pm - diet coke works better and its pratically impossible to get 12 mentos into a brand new bottle i might try to hot glue them to the top of the cap then screw it on
