This egg will explain how to make a ringtone using Itunes, here are the steps:
1) Create a new playlist and put the song that you want as your ringtone in the playlist
2) Right click the song u want as your ringtone and hit "Go To"
3) Next, click on "options" and adjust the start and stop times that you feel sutible, then click ok and go to "file- edit-prefrences"
4)Click "Advanced" and go to "Importing"
5) Under "Settings" where it says "Import Using" scroll down to "mp3 encoder"
6) Now under setting click "custom" and make it 32kbps, 22.050 khz, mono, optimized (don’t worry if u don’t see "Optimized, it is only available on certain versions of Itunes)
7) Next, click "OK", go back to the playlist and hit "select all", then right click the song and hit "Convert Selection to Mp3"
8) Now you can add the ringtone to your phone using either Bluetooth or a USB cable

i have bluetooth on my phone but will i be able to wirlessly transfer from my comp? does my comp need to have bluetooth? |

itunes is what you use for your ipod.
apple makes it
it is one of the esiest music librarys out there and its free

I’d rather use One Click Ringtone Converter due to the simplicity of it.
[1] iTunes is a big file. I think...?
[2] You need a Bluetooth or USB cable
[3] If you don’t have an iPod, you have to uninstall iTunes, which is a bitch
Unless you don’t have internet on your phone, don’t use this tutorial.

itunes isn’t just for your ipod, itunes came before the ipod, i don’t have an ipod (yet) and i use itunes. |

I dont think anyone knows how to put it on which makes it useless my phone didn\’t come with a usb cord do i have to buy one and thean id still be lost good egg if you have blue tooth or a usb chord and it works |

Nope, when the song is converted, it gets doubled in your library. (original+ ringtone)

Bluetooth is provided by most of the newer phones, however on really recent high-tech computers support it. (both your computer and your phone need blue tooth)

Usb cord for a cell phone costs around 60$ CAN
As for the egg, this is a damn good egg. Now I can get my own mexis and songs that i couldn\’t get off the web into my phone 5*. |

Very nice egg. Very cool. 5*\’s and in favs.
In newer version of Itunes some of the stpes are a bit different. When I get a chance I will post the changes to the steps.
And the only problem is Itunes won\’t let you do it to any song you buy from them because it is a protected AAC audio file so you can only do this off of Cd\’s you rip.
But awesome and I am going to do it in 1 minute to one of my Cd\’s |

Now you click \"Get Info\" when right clikcing, if you have the latests iTunes that is. |
