Ok firstly let me say, I’m on a Mac. I own Halo 1 and you can play PC v Mac. etc.
So you want to become a better Halo player? I’m going to attempt to teach you.
PRACTICE Okay this might sound stupid but I spend about 20 hours a week playing Halo. You can become very very good. You must practice in order to become better.
Weaving[b/]
Okay heres a scenario.
Your enemy has a sniper rifle.
Your stuck with your Pistol and Assualt Rifle.
You must weave, in and out and make your way towards them.
This makes it easier to dodge bullets.
[b] Terrain [b/]
Use your terrain to your advantage.
You could be low on shield.
HIDE!
Keep your enemy guessing.
[b] PING [b/]
If your ping is something like 563, then make sure you give the appropriate lead on your shots.
[b]Weapons[b/]
If you can get a sniper rifle, pick it up. It’s a very powerful rifle and can scope your enemy out.
[b]Pistol[b/]
If you have a choice, use a pistol over your assualt rifle
Pistol is a powerful weapon.
3 shots tot he head is an instant kill.
Always aim for the head.
Use your Assualt rifle against Hogs, but also don’t forget your nades.
[b]Nading When your pistoling, and your clip is almost finished, throw a nade! Grenades are powerful and they work the charm when you need to reload.

Aug 21, 2006 7:48 am - yuor a noob lol none of this works although the sniper is good never use the pistol in a close range firefight use your smg more shot equal more damage and its 4 shots with the pistol and if i ever meet you in a match my team will go flawless cause u suck
Aug 21, 2006 10:28 am - ^ whoever said to use smg is a jackass noob, this is halo 1 first off, plus both smg and assualt rifle sucked in both games, the pistol from halo 1 was the best weapon ever
Aug 21, 2006 1:41 pm - I used to play Halo PC, it got really boring really fast, I don’t see how you and the rest of all these Halo obsessed people can sit there for 10 hours a day playing it. Battlefield 2 > Halo
Aug 22, 2006 6:09 am - Br owned in halo 2, 3 shots and a kill (if you were host, otherwise 4). And pistol smg combo in halo 2 was great, smg supressed them and limited the movement while the pistol dealt out huge damage in headshots. But compared to halo 1 the pistol was shit. Halo 2, The br and a short range wep was all you need.
Aug 24, 2006 7:37 pm - Its a pretty good tut for newbie halo pc online players. But the assault rifle attacking a hog doesnt work well, its better to stick it or use a well placed frag. the assult rifle thing only works well if ur hole teams attacking, or the hog his having trouble moving and has a bad or no gunner.
