Well I checked this place out on August 27th for the 3rd time in my life.
I rode by this place everyday to go to BOCES (A trade/tech school thing) and always wondered what was there. I worked up the boredom enough to ride my bike here. I ride by this building everyday too so on my way there I stopped and checked it out.
The second time I went I was with some kids I know from school. They had never checked out an abandonment for ghost-hunting (that\’s the second egg) at night. For some reason or another I dont know why they thought there were ghosts there but whatever, we all had a good time.
The third time was last Sunday (the 27th) when my mother dropped me off here. It had just rained so the first building I went into had more mold the usual and the colors on the walls were more vibrant.
Now, time to bore you with some history:
-Opened for operation in 1951
-Closed 1979
-This site once had 3 Satellites on the property but sadly they were demolished.
These bases were designed to shove these missles:
Up some communists asshole.
There are many of these bases all around the North Eastern part of America, all with the mission to defend major cities and more importantly, Washington DC.
This base was once self-sufficent; the men who worked here lived here with their families on the base, thus many of the old buildings were turned into apartments.
Well now onto the pictures.
As I was dropped off I checked this building out:
I believe it was some sort of office or school, I have no clue. But its filled with empty rooms and other random objects.
I then exited that building; smoked a cigaratte (Bad habit to smoke inside of a building infested with mold; bad habit to smoke period but whatever) and walked towards the gymnasium.

I then left the Gymnasium and went to one of two old dorm buildings. One of the buildings was boarded up and another was a walk in the park.
--The people were outside looking for their kitten that they were playing with in the grass and it had gotten away from them. I had to pull my 1337 ninja skills and break their necks to get inside.
^Some sort of masonry insulation?? I dont remember really. Whatever it was it was being stored in the room on my immediate right along with these:

Aug 29, 2006 11:39 pm - Wow i thought this was goign to be an egg from someone in my town. Theres an abandoned NIKE missle silo about a five minute bike ride from where i live. I was gonna go last week at like midnight with some guys from school but they never showed up at my house to pick me up. They were like \"Oh, we got too high and forgot.\" so i called them retards and never got to go. If my camera even worked i\’ll try to get a UE egg up on it.

Aug 30, 2006 4:43 pm - nice egg 5* but it looks more like a school than a missile silo... i was hoping for some pics inside (or out) of the actual silos or millitary buildings.
I just ate a 5 day old piece of pizza... its been sitting in my room and i just found the box then! hopfully i cant go to school tommorow!!! w00t sickness!
A g 31, 2006 7:43 am - I do stupid stuff i went into sum half built house they had windows n shit but one on the 2nd floor near scaffolding was open so me n my mates went in n i eventually climbed in the attick / loft whatever people call themm and fell thru the fuckin roof hahaha lmao
