This is a simple hack to have any type of cellphone you want with whatever provider you have as long as both phones have sims cards.
You turn the cellphone that you want on (have your sim card ready)
Now lift up on the battery so that the metal on the top of the battery(the part that makes the battery keep the phone on - whenever you try it you will see what i mean.)is still touching and keeping the phone on.
Now take a little pin or something small so you can slide the sim inside the phone out without turning off the phone.
Now just slide your sim card in and put the battery and cover back on and you now have yourself a new phone.

If you google \"unlocking mobile phones\" you can see how people do it, and how complex it is because its different for each phone model..

1)you can buy a phone that is already unlocked for all services.
2)put in the damn SIM card in and it will ask you for a code to unlock it. find the code for that phone on the internet or look for one of the other phone unlocking eggs for it.

Verizon- CDMA
T-mobile- GSM
Cingular- GSM
Meaning you cannot switch a verizon phone with a cing. phone. And if you wanted to do t-mob to cingular you would have to unlock the phone first. www.cellphonehacks.com
