heya this is ma 1st egg so yeh im goin to teach you a bit bout speed skating:
a cross over:
a cross over it a tenchnique that builds your speed a round a corner (pritty simple) if your skating counter clock wise (easyer) than you put your weight on your leftfot n get you right foot and put it over your left foot and kinda push and as you get better you will be able to do this very fast gain alot of speed and over take alot of people around a corner.
skating backwords:
when i 1st started skating i could not do this so what you have to do is roller backwards and get you feet in a triangle shape and push out with both your feet and if you practis this you will roll faster.
starting a race:
when you start a race when the person says go or whatever get your feet to a side and kind of run as you would withought skates on and you will over take people.
