All of you musically literate folks out there are probably aware that sites like mxtabs and powertabs were shut down due to bullshit reasons. Well, I have a new, even better way of getting your tabs and being able to read them...like the angry drummers who try to read little circles and dots.
There are a few steps to succeeding with this, so bare with me.
Step One: You will need to find the program called \\"Guitar Pro 5\\" somehow, but I make this a bit easier for you...
So if you don’t have a torrent downloader already i suggest you get azureus just because it will benefit you more when you want to download large files. You can get azureus by clicking this link...

...there used to be a site that worked called www.mysongbook.com but that got disabled just like mxtabs so you can’t download anything unless you make a donation...so now let’s talk about using ultimate-guitar
Step Four There are 2 ways you can search for a song...
1. You can leave the default setting on song name (so say you want “Judas Rising” by Judas Priest) just type the song name where I did
OR
2.Click on the drop down menu and select “Band Names” and then type in Judas Priest…
You’ll get a ton of song names now or listings or w/e like this….
If you typed in the song name you’ll get a whole bunch of listings from other bands to so just look for the right one(its not too hard)
SO… in this case, our song will be a few pages down so simply click next which is circled in red and located at the bottom of the page
Step Five Once you’ve found the page with the song you want, click on the song, but look carefully for the correct one that’s labeled “Guitar Pro tab”…
Step Six After you click on the song, you’ll get this page…
Be careful to check in where I have circled in blue for the instrument you want, usually it’ll say “percussion, guitar, vocals, bass”(something like that), but this one doesn’t so you might have to test some that aren’t listed. So when you’ve found one that fits your musically needs, click “Download Tab” and save it wherever the hell want as long as you remember.
If you have Guitar Pro installed correctly, all you need to do is double click that tab file you just downloaded from wherever you saved it, and guitar pro should loud up with your tab in there. It should look like this…
And then to get your desired instrument, you simply go to the left hand corner of the “Guitar Pro” program which should look like this…
you can also listen to the tab with all the instruments in there…the sound isn’t how the band would sound but you can hear the instruments good and can take out the other instruments just to hear the one you want…so to play the tab press the green sideways triangle on the top like so…
If you have a whole bunch of tabs saved in a folder and you don’t want to look for them…click open (or the folder icon) and then browse for the folder(just click a word document or other basic program
P.S. I have benefited 100% percent from this program since I started using it. It is the best way to get tabs just because it’s the ONLY way. But as all you drummers know, the “old” tabs really blow, that’s why these will help you out a ton…hope you all like it…

but i don’t really like to bother with this stuff
i just use this thing called tabit
you can’t download anything unless you make a donation..
...No...you can’t download anyting at all...period. You can donate all you want, and you still won’t get anything. The reason all the tab sites got shut down, is because of copyright infringement, not to get donations...lol
Anyway.. Lamb of God and Megadeth tomorrow night bitch...it’ll be a bitchin show.
