Long story short i discovered this whilst playing and i want 2 share it with the world. According to one of those crappy onlineguides, the village chief is the hardest boss to beat in the game. They advised to run around like a headless chicken and shoot every once in a while. However, i have created a new strategy. With my way you can avoid taking any damage n use the least amount of ammo.
What you need:
One normal grenade
Handgun with at lesat 64 bullets
Rifle with ammo
Wat u do:
As soon as the fight begins chuck the grenade at a downward angle. Instantly, the chief does that thing where he falls backwards temporarily. Use this opportunity to run past him and to his right. Do a 180 turn and you should see a ladder. Climb this. Looking to the right of the screen you should see a wall of metal with a small hole at the bottom. You will also notice that you can see the chief through this. However, he cant attack u atall. Equip the handgun and aim down through the hole (u dont hav 2 use the handgun for this, but as the handgun bullets are usually the most plentiful, i would advise you use them instead of something rarer). Now fire at his stomach. It will take around 64 shots to defeat his first form in normal mode. If done correctly, you will not have lost any health, aand used the bare minimum of ammo. Now the second form. Unlike the first form, there is no safe area. Equip the rifle and get onto the second floor. Any other weapon will work, but rifle is best. Aim at him from a distance and fire. You only have time for one shot with the rifle before you have to run for it. Once he gets within 2 swings of you, jump to the lower floor and run around until u loose him. Now climb back up the ladder and repeat. U shudnt loose ny health. Once hes dead collect his glass eye and jump out the hole.
If youv already finished the game then use the chicago typewriter. Just fire at him for a few seconds and the fite is over.
