Hey im Rayan and im here to tell you almost everything you could ever need to know your going to write graffiti. I am a graffiti writer and i know what im talking about.
Types Of Graffiti:
There are four different kinds of graffiti.Love, Hate,Generic, And Hip Hop. Love and hate graffiti are roughly the same thing. Love graffiti is someone loves someone. Hate graffiti is someone hates someone. This type of graffiti is what u see most places. all that u need to do this is a can of paint. Generic graffiti is graffiti that is harmless in intent and says things like "class of ’08" or "ben was here".
Styles Of Graffiti:
Hip Hop graffiti is what some people consider an art from that takes time and practice. It comes in a varity of styles and colors. This type of graffiti comes in 4 basic forms. Tags, Throw-ups, Pieces, and Burners. A Tag is a stylized way a writer writes his name. A Throw-up is an outline with 2 colors, an outline and a filler. A Throw-up takes more time than a Tag but looks better in the end. A Piece is a large graffiti painting that has 3-d effects, Many colors, and color transitions as well as other effects. A Burner is like the sistine chapel of the graffiti world. These are like a Piece but take more time and skill then anything else. The name Burner comes from the look that they are burning of the wall. Pieces have many styles. Some of which are Bubble, Blockbuster, Drips, and Wildstyle.
Bubble is one of the most common types. They are letters that are bigger and rounded. most Bubble lettering is overlaying the next to it. Blockbuster is a style where you use big square blocks usually in two colors. This is often used to cover a lot of space. This style is dome with rollers most of the time but can be done with spray is desired. The final and most amazing styles is Wildstyle is a complicated construction of interlocking letters. It is considered to be one of the hardest styles to master. Pieces done in wildstyle are often completely unreadable by non-writers.
By now u must be saying to yourself \\"How is this going to help me?" Well if you dont know the styles then you cant write good graffiti now can you?
The one thing ever true writer has is a black book. So get one. A black book is called a piece book or a writers bible. It has skeches of a writers Tags, Pieces and Throw-ups. As a new writer you may get slashed and called a toy. Slashing is putting a line over someone elses work. A Toy is a new writer. Both of which is a diss to you and u dont want to go over anyones work or you will get everything you have slashed.
How To Write:
The First thing you need to do is to pick a name. This can be anything you want it to be. Now that you have a name start skeching is your black book and look at graffiti around your town. go to a place where you can just take your time and practice.
Where To Write:
Anywhere and everywhere. Hit Anything you want to. Some place are hard so if you throw up a killer piece there then you’ll get respect. hard to reach or dangerous places are called heaven spots and they are the best to bomb.
What You Need:
spraypaint, a black book, caps or spray tips if u want

love and hate grafitti isnt what u see around i think thats mostly hip hop
and to come up with your writing style if its hard for you you should just practice ones u see around and youl get the hang of that style

your sketches are also crap, no 3-d and you have shit proportions. Your a toy poser.
Tell people how to write if you learn your shit and become burner.
Oh, and there is 4 types of graff you fool, theres thousands of types.
