I think we all know sticking something in your pocket and walking out is risky- plus chances are what you have in your pocket isnt worth very much anyway. An easier and less-risky method is to load up your cart with 12 or 24 packs of soda. in the back of your cart, there is room to stick a few small items. the top back of the cart (you know where they have the slide out baby carrier thingie) covers the top view and the soda covers the front. you pushing the cart covers the back. At most major superstores like meijer, walmart, target, or any grocery, they will say "oh mr customer, just leave the soda (or pop or soda pop or whatever you call it where you live) in the cart, I can enter it in by hand (or scan one and multiply it by whatever#)" also, flat things like magazines can be put under the soda. if someone finds it like a clerk or security guy, you can more easily claim you forgot. if the store personel couldnt see it in the cart, how could you? also if they did see it, you havent walked out yet so it’s not stealing, just forgetfulness. granted, you have to buy stuff, but it is stuff you probably would have bought anyway, and you get nice free bonuses with this shopping trip! |
