There is an even taller tower on the other side of the bayou I want to try and climb. The only problem is that it is in the open and someone might call the cops on me. That and it is covered in power lines. |

Well I went back again. It was another spur of the moment idea. This time I brought a sharpie and signed the top of the tower. I also signed my friend’s name because he asked me to, even though he wasn’t there and never made it to the top. This was the 3rd time I climbed it. I found out it takes me about 10 minutes to go up, 10 minutes down. I could go down in about 5 seconds if I jumped. The song What Doesn’t Die by Anthrax seemed to fit nicely when I was climbing.
I also gave Weasel free advertisment by signing www.RottenEggs.com up there along with my RE name. I also signed a more or less private thing up there. The only way for anyone to find out what I wrote is to climb it. I have some more pictures (and cuts/scrapes/bruises) that I will post soon. |

I think I am done climbing those for now unless I have a reason. They are all the same anyways. Three times risking my life seems to be enough. I am wondering how long that sharpie is going to stay up there. The sun can get really bad and it has been raining a lot lately. |

Well it was really for my own amusement, but since I had pictures, there was no reason to not make an egg about it. Well that is atleast what other memebers said.
I think a lot of people saw me up there. It was next to a busy road and an even busier highway. I bet they were all wishing I’d fall. If I saw someone climbing one of those I would think really hard about him falling too. After all, my teacher said I could do anything if I put my mind to it. |

First off, 5*. That’s pretty deadly. Second, I’m Canadian, I use feet, pounds (I think we’re supposed to use kilograms or something, I don’t know, I’ve never taken an interest in this country) inches, and almost eveything you’d use in America. So sadly, it’s not a conspiracy. |

My perception of what is deadly and what isn’t has been fucked, along with my idea of what is right and what is wrong. That applies to general situations that can be right/wrong, and moral ones. I think those two things helped contribute to me climbing that thing. That or I am just a dumbass. |

The widest beams were only about 3 - 3.5 inches wide at most. I didn’t have any balancing problems. If I was to have any balancing problems, they would of been on the pegs. There were many times where I had to put both feet on one peg. That doesn’t sound like a big deal, other than the fact that one of my feet was only making contact with about half an inch of the peg and the other side was hanging off. |

It’s a mix of both. Climbing down would be very hard if it weren’t for the beams, even though you are only supposed to use the pegs and not the beams. |
