man’s tendency to mythicize serial killers - to view them not as criminals but as creatures of superhuman evil - is reinforced by the media’s habit to give them lurid nicknames.
this is a list of infamous serial killers and their tabloid style alias’. ( the last names are in alphabetical order because i have too much time on my hands)

i do know about half of these by heart. i have books with the biographies of the killers and looked up the corresponding names and made a list. why does this seem so much like c/p material? |

Dennis Rader "AKA BTK (Bind Torture Kill) used to live 20 minutes from my house. I sold him ammunition on several occasions, and we even had some conversations. It was kind of creepy when they caught him. My English teacher used to bag his groceries EVERY sundayy when she was a kid. |
