Before I just thought that the kids I hung out with were just dumb asses. But even here at college I get the same old line, “ I thought that was bad!” So I’m just gonna clear it up for the kids here on RE.
Nigger-Used as a disparaging (showing or expressing disapproval) term for a member of any dark-skinned people.

Nigga-A slang term used to address a close friend or to show loyalty. (mainly used in the African American culture)
Chuck--“You had my back in there, thanks man.”
Trent---“You know you my nigga, I wasn’t gon leave you hangin.”
Ok enough with the Webster shit.
If a black guy calls another black guy a nigger….something is wrong with him and he need the shit beat out of him.
But if he calls him a nigga…well that’s just normal slang. My mom calls me that. You don’t have to be a “gangsta” to call someone a nigga. Nigga is the equvilent to a white guy saying “dude”
White
“Hey, some dude just called for you. Didn’t leav a # though”
Black
“Hey, some nigga just called for you. Didn’t leave a # though.”
I personally do not care if white people call me that. My girlfriend (white) does and I just bust out laughing. However, I will say this, ASK FIRST. Not all black people are cool with it. And, just because he/she is, doesn’t mean its cool when they are around all their friends and you shout it across the lunch room. So what if you were talking to him or her, you still said it and if someone in there does not like you saying it…..just DO NOT do it. ASK FIRST. The best time to bring it up is when a bunch of you are high or drunk. They might not remember but you will still get an honest answer and later you can remind them.
I hope I cleared things up a little bit. At least for the ones who didnt know. I know there are white people who say it all the time so you guys can leave comments if you want but this is for the one who didnt know.

For example, there are music and acting award shows exclusive to blacks. Now if someone was to make a wight version of that, it would be an outrage. Now i think that we should stop dividing the nation like that.

Think, would a slave master want to say anything nice to a slave, if he were nice anyway he would have never had a slave, that is where the word was created, on some plantation, and at the time how many white men had been to Africa? Maybe a few dozen European expeditions, but do you think that anyone in a tribe in Africa where the slaves were taken from (not the only place) would say my nigga’ to another Black man, most didn’t know too much about the outside world, so they probably wouldn’t think about there being different colors of humans, so what would be the use of categorizing his fellow tribesmen. Everytime you say Nigga’, God kills a kitten, please, think of the kittens.

But some afro’s get mad even if I’m singing a song with the word nigga in it, and that’t stupid. 5*
