These type of fireworks are very common in firework display as they are more spectacular
Then bottle rockets. if you dont know what artilery fireworks are then click here http://www.bigfireworks.com/artillery_shells_c.html this is a more simpler idea that i thought up my self (sorry if the idea has been posted before).

I haven’t tried this yet because of the way that my neighbours complain about the smell of the fireworks but I will try it very soon. If it works I will post an egg on how to make it with more pics and a video. But in this egg, I am going to explain how it works. And if it works.

Basically it works exactly the same as how a bullet fires. However you have the fuse actually go through the bullet (which is a clay plug). The sparkler fuse is stuck inside the plug and the burning fuse goes through the hole in the plug and ignites the powder (match head powder or black powder) seing the plug has such a good seal, the pressure made by the burning match heads will pop out the plug along with the sparkler still through the plug and hopefully shoot out about 15 to 25 meters high along with some neat sparkler effects created by the rest of the sparkler fuse

Here are a couple of diagrams of how it works

The base is glued onto the tubes with a very very strong glue to prevent explosion

I am about 98% sure that this will work. Because I have tried a lot of experiments and some of them were very similar to this one and they worked. If it does work when I try it I will repost a new egg with instructions and a video. However if it doesn’t work I will delete this egg. This egg is only meant to explain how it works to go with the new egg so please rate fairly

5 stars cause I love pyrotechnics and anyone starting into them should be encourage on the right way...lol...Look up "Mortars" under any google fireworks site, that is more or less what you are building, except a multi-shot. Mortars are a blast (pun intended) with homemade stars, clusters, willows and well, go have fun!

Eh..... it’s pretty good, for a novice with not to many chemicals. Why don’t you try adding some little bits of sparklers to be "stars"?

yeah, im hoping that the sparkler fuse would be able to do the trick, because when the plug shoots up there should be enough unburnt sparkler fuse so you can see it at night. but i havent actually worked out how i could make a firecracker that small and light

its actually a clay plug. i will explain everything on how to make it in my next egg. but the clay plug is soft at first so you make a hole in it with a scewer and then you make it airtight by moulding it into the cardboard tube and putting it in the oven. then when its dry you push it out with a pencil and there you have a perfect plug that fits in perfectly

also you can buy cardboard tubes from a shop caled lincraft and they have them as material rols so you can take them home for free but you can also go to the newsagent and buy some fax paper (2 rolls) for 6 dollars and they make really good bottle rocket tubes

this is great except i think it might be a possibility that instead of the clay plug shooting out, the cardboard tube might give way instead. tell me what happens, thanx. 5*s

you idiot. you didn’t even list the materials needed.

what are those tubes taped together? are those rocket engines? If so, then there is not a chance in hell that your idea is going to work.

Don’t post eggs before testing the idea
