Match Telekinesis Trick
Ok guys this is my _____ egg.
I’m about the only kid in America without a digital camera, so I’m sorry for the lack of pictures. Ill try making up by being as de5criptive as possible.
For those of you who dont buy the telekinesis eggs here is a away to appear that you have the power.
My dad fooled me with this a while ago. Unfortunately its not a trick your probably going to do at a bar, because of the props.
Materials:
A. Book of matches
B. Wire
C. Magnet
D.Rubberband
Preparation Steps
1. Take a match, one out of a match book, and split it in half vertically. If you did it right it should look like you have two matches.
2. Get a thin piece of wire or anything magnetic. Lie it in the middle of the two match halves and super glue them back together. If you take a little time you can make it look like a perfectly normal match.
3. Now you need a magnet which you are going to strap somewhere along your leg with the rubberband. I usually strap it to the bottom half of my leg and sit with my legs crossed (I would recommend wearing pants if this is what you chose to do).
Performing
1. Find someone that will let you waste ten seconds of their life.
2. Tell them you can perform Telikinesis.
3. Cross your leg with the magnet so the magnet is facing up.
4. Put your hand over the where the magnet is on your leg, then place the match in the palm of your hand (which is facing up and is over the magnet).
Now every slight movement from either you leg or your hand will cause some odd movement.
If theres interest in this I have another cool bar trick that all you need is an ashtray with a smoked cigarette in it.
Oct 29, 2006 1:28 am - how exactly do you set it off though? do you simply rub your hand on the magnet while the match is in your palm or is it a different way?
Oct 29, 2006 6:24 am - Your hand is in between the magnetic field of the match and the magnet so any movement of your hand or your leg will cause the match to move around.
