hi. this is my first egg and it’s about getting the most out of a lemon cannon that uses a spray as the accelerant. most people use hairspray or deoderant but i have found the best spray to use is called Aerostart. And it is the only spray and can find that has the flammable gas 3 sign on it.

i think i put that picture on properly....

i’m not sure if Aerostart is available in the u.s it might be but i am from Australia and it’s here.

I have 1 other quick idea that i have used. get your cannon and a sharp knife and sharpen the end of your cannon by cutting down diagonally so u can easily cut potatoes out to the perfect shape. after you sharpen it sand scratched bits on the inside and it should cut perfectly.

ive always wondered if propane was safe but idk
i have been lookin tho for a good prpellant

Propane is an excellent fuel, it mixes with air pefectly as it is a gas, but you need a metering system to measure it out. you could probably use a propane torch with no flame to put the gas in, not sure.

there should be a new name for spud guns/lemon guns as they can shoot many more different things then those, ive used about 8 shotgun pellets in mine and it goes almost as fast as a 22 caliber in my opinion (the weaker ones). because i used 22s at my farm and the impact from both guns looked almost the same. ut i will try some one that aerostart spray and it should e even more powerfull. 5*

you should be able to buy aerostart from any hardware store, or anywhere that has things to do with engines and motors, and from bearing stores. plain gas would be very hard to you use unless u had some type of airlock... sprays are the best. aerostart isn’t expnsive either. it;s stacks better than hairspray and deoderant. thanks for people that are rating me and leaving comments. cheers.
