Right, well il assume u all know about that ice bullet thing that supposedly dissolves inside the body leaving no trace. Which is pretty cool, u hav 2 admit. However, as proved in mythbusters (it didnt have to be proved on that show, its just common sense that it would melt) the hot gas in the gun melts the bullet before it hits the target. So i, in my infinite knowledge, thot of a way to create a bullet that (theoretically) dissolves in the body leaving no trace. It aint ice.
What you need:
Sugar (or salt, but salt tends to form crystals that clump together rather than actually bond, so it probably wouldnt hold together as well as the sugar)
Water
A bullet mould (i have no idea where to get these, that adam character made 1 on the show)
What you do:
Quite simple. Heat some water (not alot) in a pan. Now add sugar, stirring until no more will dissolve. Leave it to evaporate (stirring occasionally) until a syrup like consistency is created. Now pour this into your bullet mould. When it dries you will have a sugar bullet (sweet! ahem... little joke there...). Now THEORETICALLY this will not melt in on the way to the target because it has a relatively high melting point compared to ice, but it will dissolve once in the body. Sugar is found in the body anyway so it shouldnt be detected once dissolved.

 | Nov 01, 2006 6:42 am - i think the suger would just shater in the gun |

 | Nov 01, 2006 7:02 am - no, i think sugar would remain intact. salt, i think, would shatter. If using salt, dont let it evaporate for a while after you dissolve it, just pour the mix straight in. |

 | Nov 01, 2006 7:29 am - lol I thought you meant those little blender things in the infomercials.
Make nacho cheese in 3 seconds!!! |

 | Nov 01, 2006 7:47 am - lmao those blender things i actually have one lmao but anyway it would have to be stong enough to be forced into the cartridge and then to be shot out plus there is the residue in the gun and it will get on the sugar bullet so they could possibly trace that
other than that pretty good 4* |

 | Nov 01, 2006 7:49 am - im thinkin the salt would rust the gun! |

 | Nov 01, 2006 8:35 am - AM I the only person that knows the propellant for that fires the bullett is inside the bullett ^o) so without that it wouldnt shoot anyway..fooking hell noobz
ahh...and 0* for you aswell..theoretically..su ar would not work you didnt..theorize it very well |

 | Nov 01, 2006 8:55 am - Retarded. This is imposible for, your wrong.
1) sugar will not melt at body heat.
2) that ice bullets are immposible. There pnuematicaly launched dumbass.. |

 | Nov 01, 2006 10:12 am - great lemme get my gun |

 | Nov 01, 2006 10:15 am - quote[AM I the only person that knows the propellant for that fires the bullett is inside the bullett ^o) so without that it wouldnt shoot] the propelland is in a cartridge not in the bullet so you could fire it another way like a musket, its just in the cartridge to make shooting easier |

No, I know what it is too. PM me if you think you know what it is, hint use google. And it is NOT black powder. |

 | Nov 01, 2006 5:31 pm - ya i think the sugar would shatter |

 | Nov 01, 2006 5:33 pm - jotto’s right, i saw that episode |

 | Nov 01, 2006 7:56 pm - thats not a bad idea. 5* |

 | Nov 01, 2006 8:14 pm - for things like this i wish that i had made my account sooner, but, i think the sugar bullet would work, have you ever did that to sugar? and remember in the show mythbusters the ice didn’t shatter in the barrel it melted after it left the barrel, compare ice to molten sugar, the ice is at least 5 times as brittle , and as for the residue in the barrel, there is something called a "gun cleaning kit" that takes care of the residue in the gun, and it would melt in the body, it will dissolve. i give it five stars, because this is brilliantly planned, send it in to the mythbusters and see if they will try it out, its much safer, and if it works, well you got a lot of bragging rights. |

 | Nov 01, 2006 9:07 pm - They tried this on Mythbusters and it doesn’t work. Zero. |

the sugar is supposed to dissolve you dumb fuck
Quote: They tried this on mythbusters and it didnt work. Zero.
They tried frozen bullets which melted. This is completely different. |

 | Nov 14, 2006 9:08 pm - nice thought Nice thought but something they didnt say on mythbuster the friction would melt the ice quicklt. yes air has friction to a bullet (windage) go take a physics class bubba 0^ |

 | Dec 07, 2006 4:41 pm - well its been done before and i doubt anone has any use for this at all 3* |

 | Jan 12, 2007 2:54 pm - how dumb can u get, u would have to use a air rifle or somming, cus other wise the bullet wont even fore, as it is the black powder insiode the bullet that fires it |

 | May 14, 2007 12:11 pm - Actully, the black powder is not in the BULLET , its in the brass( the shell ) the gun powder is in the brass/shell and the bullet is the copper or lead tip that when fired come flying out of the barrel at 2800 fps and blows the whole side of your fucking head off. | |
