What the fuck? They are giving Saddam the death penalty or "the gallows" for the crimes he committed. What did he do that was so wrong anyway? I mean think about it. He killed his enemies and took over their land. Shit, if that is punishable by the death penalty, then W should be given the death penalty along with his Vice President, his dad, his mom, his redneck brother Jed, and every other President.
Who doesn’t want to kill their enemy? Who doesn’t want to take over? What, you never thought of killing your enemy and taking his/her shit as your own? You never thought of a hostile take over? We all have. Just on a smaller scale, and we didn’t have the balls to see it through.
If anything, Saddam Hussein is a rags to riches story. That’s the American Extreme dream. You know he has a few billion stashed away someplace. I’d love for Saddam to be tried here. With that kind of money you can get away with ANYTHING & EVERYTHING. But they are not trying him here, our legal system is meant to cater to those with money and power. OJ killed and got away with it because of his money. Michael Jackson fucked a little boy and got away with it because of his money. Scott Peterson didn’t have nearly as much evidence in his murder case, but because of lack of money is now going to die. You can get away with murder if you have enough money.

Saddam Hussein was not charged for killing his enemies and taking land, he was charged with killing thousands of innocent kurds with toxic gas in 1988. If all he was doing was committing a hostile takeover then I would agree with you and probably feel the same way, the thing is, he killed thousands of innocent people and I believe he got a fair sentence, sure the judge was probably biased, but that is because Saddam used to torture people that would not vote for him. I believe he could be compared to hitler. By the way I’m not gonna vote.

The Iraqi court had a damn good reason to convict him, although i don’t think the death penalty is the way to do it. Peronally i think it will cause even more uproars and riots. He should just be sentenced to life in prison.

that was a completly different situation. we used the atomic bombs as a very last resort. we gave the japanese plenty of chances to surrender and stop the war, but they didn’t listen, so it was either stop the war almost instantly by bombing hiroshima and nagasaki, or invade japan and lose countless lives and the war would have continued for years.

Also Japan didn’t use atomic bombs on Pearl harbor. Ok, so we occupy Iraq with armed forces, avoiding pedestrial casualties, and they send planes to hit commercial buildings and I assume your against that, so now your being fucking hipocrical for saying that the bombing of hiroshima was justified over pearl harbor.

It caused Japan to back out of the war in 1945. Who was supplying hitler’s oil? Japan was. the atomic bombs played a key role in ending the war. Anyway the american troops didn’t bust down the door in the middle of sunday dinner and make the entire family line up outside and shoot them one by one.
