ok in this egg i will teach you how to make a combustion gun that fires blowgun darts from my other egg and musket balls
MATERIALS: one two liter pop bottle
two long screws
one 5 foot long aluminum conduit pipe with 1/2 diameter hole
one BBQ ignitor
duct tape
scissors
PROCEDURE:
first take your pop bottle and take of the label
now screw in your two screws like in the picture
now take your BBQ igniter and wrap the two wires around the screws and when i click it there should be a spark that jumps between the two screws

now take some duct tape and tape the wires down so they dont move see picture please
now now take your pipe and wrap it up with duct tap so the pop bottle can fit snugly on the end see picture
now fit your bottle on the end like in the picture and secure it with duct tape
now you have to make a hole with scissors ok now take your scissors and make a hole so you can spray hair spray into the bottle and ignite it look at the picture
your hole should be about this big see picture
now just take a small piece of duct tape and put it over the hole so it keeps the hairspray fumes in and so when you ignite it the duct tape will blow off but all that matters
now your finished with your combustion gun
now we will cover the types of ammo you can use blow gun darts or musket balls muzzle loaded
now to fire a musket ball place some wadding in the pipe and push it down and roll a musket ball down the end now a really easy place to find musket balls is like k mart or a toy store now they come with those magnetics they have them and there little ball bearing but they work perfectly as musket balls
now to make a blowgun dart you need
1 nail
1 little piece of paper
ductape
first take your sheet of paper and roll a cone like in the picture and secure it with a piece of duct tape
next put the paper in the end of the pipe and cut where it stops going down
now you should have a cone the exact size of your pipe see picture
now put your nail through the cone and secure it with duct tape like in the picture
now to fire it you have to muzzle load it cone side first and spay some hair spray in the hole u made and put a piece of duct tape over the hole and spark it and BOOM! it should fly very far and stick into the wall or animal or what ever your shooting at

Nov 10, 2006 10:09 am - cool but you really suck at making dartd,you should use masking tape because as your moist breath goes into the tube,the duct tape wont slide very well

No 11, 2006 5:29 pm - hello everyone to answer your questions i could not put a video up because i wasnt by any woods but i will put a video soon of it firing either a dart or a musket ball um which should i put? oh and about not trusting the coke bottle its ok because the bottle would not burst before it shot out the projectile and plus the bottles are pressure rated at 140 psi and i dont think it takes more then 140 psi to push out a musket ball or a dart and about every oncce in awhile you may have put a wrong amount of hairspray in the chamber and the bottle could shrink but all you have to do is take another pop bottla and make another chamber this is a way of making sort of a musket and a very powerful dart shooteer for barely any money its fun to mess with ive shot a dart and made it stick into a tree from about 200 feet away its pretty powerful =)
