OK, to start off with, I’m from the UK, so if you want to use this in other countries, you may need to improvise, but I will explain!
DISABLING VICTIM POWER
They are a few reasons you may want to do this. Mainly, I’d imagine security.
Make sure:
The victim have a circuit breaker, it’s a box that cut’s off power if something goes wrong, most new houses do.
Needed:
A plug that you can take apart for placing a new wire in.
IT MUST HAVE EARTH!
OK, this is where you may need to improvise, because this is explained for England.
Grab a STANDARD plug like this one:
Now, place a paperclip or a peice of wire between the earth and the NEUTRAL, it MUST be neutral, not live.
MAKE SURE THE PAPER CLIP OR WIRE IS TAPED OR INSULATED, IF NOT IT COULD TOUCH THE LIVE AND BLOW UP!
Remove any fuses or other wires:
Screw the plug back up!
To Use:
Simply place into any outlet! Many people have them outside for pools ect.
It’s good for disabling CCTV, and alarm systems, although BEWARE, many alarm systems have battery backup.
Have "fun" and don’t blow it right up, and NEVER leave the plug in or someone will know what happened. By the way, you only need it plugged in for about 30ms and it’ll be disabled. You don’t have to leave it in!
Josho.

 | Nov 23, 2006 9:42 am - Who rated 0* and why? |

 | Nov 23, 2006 9:43 am - 4* for effort. I didnt really get why somebody would want to do this though. And pretty Dangerous even if the plug isnt in the socket. |

 | Nov 23, 2006 9:44 am - Ah, now i understand (I actually read the bottom part lol,) good egg, unique, decent explanation and good pictures. |

 | ov 23, 2006 9:47 am - Sorry, THE-TUTORIAL.COM |

 | N v 23, 2006 11:22 am - lol this is mean but great! 5* |

 | Nov 23, 2006 12:07 pm - Thanks for the freat votes! |

 | Nov 23, 2006 1:22 pm - this is pretty good 4 stars |

 | Nov 23, 2006 10:19 pm - 3 you get a 3 because i dont really care aboguht these kind of eggs. |

 | Nov 23, 2006 11:23 pm - So i guess i go into the persons house to turn thier power off so i can break in with out thier alarm going off, just pull the cut off switch oin the fucking transformer, fuck! |

 | Nov 24, 2006 2:47 am - Rambo, didn’t you learn the first fucking time your account got deleted?
I’ll give the egg a 5* and take your word for it cuz I have no idea how shit works over there |

 | Nov 24, 2006 8:15 am - 5 stars 4 u dude now i can break into banks |

 | Nov 24, 2006 12:35 pm - 5*, and in favorites.
Very handy. I could definitly use this. Nice work! |

 | Nov 24, 2006 1:02 pm - He has some good points and some bad points.
1. just going to earth will just set off the GFCI (a safety device that is code internationally)
2. This works best when you go from live to neutral (and makes it work anywhere) however you will set off the GFCI again if it’s an outide plug.
3.Alarms are not just kill the power and grab. The controller and it’s battery are usually stored in a locked box somewhere in the middle of the house. Ripping the keypad off the wall will do nothing.
4. Some PC emergenc batteries contact the owner when they are activated, increasing the chance of getting caught.
This really looks good, however the fact that it **might** of been c/p makes me only give it 3*’s |

 | Nov 24, 2006 2:31 pm - ^ OK, but I swear this wasn’t copyed, search if you want. |

 | Nov 24, 2006 4:43 pm - He’s right.
This is a first.
5*’s |

 | Nov 24, 2006 5:25 pm - my buddy tomcat21 will try to get this for ameican plugs |

 | Nov 25, 2006 1:35 am - *3, i thinkk i would just cut the damn wires going in, or take out the power pole. |

 | Nov 25, 2006 2:41 am - the earth and netural are conetced up together in the switchboard. this would do nothing at all. place the wire in the active and netural that woul trip the circuit breaker for sure and blow up the power point. |

 | Nov 25, 2006 4:13 am - ^ Incorrect sorry man. But Neutral and Earth are different, for saftey, so when water touches the netural and earth it trips. |

 | Nov 25, 2006 6:53 pm - 0* + favs |

 | Nov 27, 2006 2:36 pm - rofl nice! wonder if it will work in my school... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xD
i could do with a free ict lesson... w00t! |

Quote: ^ Incorrect sorry man. But Neutral and Earth are different, for safety, so when water touches the neutral and earth it trips. Your are a dick an RCD (safety switch) trips when there is an in balance of current between active and neutral conductors. Not between neutral and earth. Neutral and earth are connect in the switchboard by the men link. This is basic shit you need to know if you an apprentice electrician like myself. So to trip an rcd device you would need a lamp wire between active and earth. Or to trip a circuit breaker you need an over current so to do this you need to place a wire between active and earth.
So simple put you don’t nothing about electrical work at all. So you are wrong and so is your egg. :P 0* should be giving to this egg as is total wrong.
If you want to argue some more egg mail me. |

 | Nov 28, 2006 10:02 am - Haha this is ace, we did this today in school but it didn’t cut the power, the lights just dimmed and came back up?
