alright i built one of these in about 2-3 days so for some of you guys it could take longer depending on how tall you are
supplies:
shovel
trees (or 4 poles)
tarp
wide open space
free time
ok first what you do is pick a spot. My spot was in between 4 trees in sort of a square formation. Once you have picked your spot then you need to start digging. It will take a long time to dig depending on how tall you are. You should not make your area too big unless you wanna dig for a week. Mine was about 5x5. Dig until your head is about 2-3 feet above ground. I made mine so that it was only a foot above ground but i’m short so i didn’t have to dig too far.when done it should look like this:
ok, now its time to take out the tarp and four tall poles. take the four poles and hammer them into the ground. then take the tarp and drill it to the poles. be dure to leave a gap between the ground and the tarp so you can get in/out.when you are done it should look like this:

Nov 27, 2006 7:34 am - This is not technically what would be called a "fort", it’s a hole in the ground with a tarp over it... It’s not very creative, and not very useful in most cases... The only logical reason to use this would be as a make-shift shelter, but that was not the purpose of the egg. *3 for effort since you got your point across np, but the point just wasn’t that interesting, or applicable in real life for that many people.
