To make a ringtone, for any phone.
First you must download Mozilla Fire Fox
Mozilla.com Then after go to this site
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2254 Download Unplug, a free extension for Mozilla.
Then go to your service providers site, go to the ringtones section, find what ever ring tone you are looking for and press the unplug icon, download the icon
NOTE: Leave file types as is!
After downloading your rintone of choice, download Total Video Converter, there is a free trial for 14 days http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Multimedia_and_Graphics/Video_and_Animation_Tools/Total_Video_Converter.html Click MP3 Encoding, and place the ring tone file in the box, change the output, to where ever you would like, then hit convert.
After you have done this, your ring tone should now work in all your media players, and more importantly on your phone.
If you have software, to transfer, use this now, or use bluetooth if you have it, if not, here is another solution.
http://www.wapdj.com/ Use this site, and upload the file, it should give you a code, visit the site on your phone, and enter the code, this should download and store your ring tone.
If any one has any questions or comments please leave a reply or message me!
Nov 29, 2006 1:38 am - I’ll say 5* for effort, I use Goldwave. Make your own, edit the sound effects and volume, and save it. You don’t need a progie to change it to an MP3 if it’s a wav, just save it as a 65kb MP3 under your save options
