#1. Take your matchbox and cut off the strike pad.
#2. Then cut off about a inch of your straw.
#3. Now cut your strike pad in half.
#4. Put your match in the straw and leave the head of the match in the center of the strike pad.
#5. Now fold the strike pad in half and staple it in place, make sure its tight enough to hold the match in place, but not to tight that it cant be pushed through.
#6. Now wrap it in tape.
You have just made your detonator, when you push it through it lights the match, igniting what ever it comes in contact with.
You can adapt this for what ever you want, i will be using it to make a match bomb.
#7. Get your matches and cardboard, then cut the card board so that it’s slightly wider then the matches.
#8. Now roll it up into a tube, and wrap it tightly in tape, and tape off one end of the tube.
#9. Now you can fill it with what ever floats your boat, sparkler dust, match powder etc. I used whole matches for this.
#10. Next cut 2 slits in the top, each at opposite sides.
#11. Now place your detonator in the top, and pinch it in place, then wrap it up with tape.
You’re now finished.
Like i said earlier, you can adapt this idea to do what ever you want, experiment.

Nov 28, 2006 7:27 pm - Yea it definately helps to use sturdy striking paper...not the ones you find on folding packs of matches but the kind he is using...otherwise it only works for like 1 or 2 matches...

I was thinking of adapting it as a tripwire sort of thing, like having it around the other way, so you could like tie a bit of string around the detonator match, then set it up like a tripwire, so when the string is pulled, it will pull the match through the striking paper.

Dec 20, 2006 11:10 am - something cool 2 do w/ this is to bury it in the ground w/ just the tip sticking out and a little hole for air then cover it w/ leaves and when someone steps on it it will blow up under them
