what you need
a small pipe (i cut mine off a old mop handle)
blackpowder
fuse
pliers
hammer (not in pic)
and a small nail (not in pic)
all right now that you have every thing its time to start!.
ok, get your pliers and your pipe, now flaten a bit of one end of the pipe with you pliers
(sorry its so blery right as i took the pic my hand moved)
all right now that you have it flatened you need to fold it up and crimp it
ta da! you now have one end sealed, now you need to poke a fuse hole in it and for that you need the hammer and nail
all right now take the nail and put it hmm about 1/2 an inch away from the end you just sealed,
now take the hammer and tap the nail tell you have a hole for your fuse
now take your fuse and cut off some for your m-80 and stick it in!
all right now you need to get your blackpowder and fill it about 1/2 to 3/4 the way full
now that you have the blackpowder in you need to seal this end the same way you did befor
no not really cuz if you take it off a mop or broom like i did it will just split down the middle. i have been only 5FT from some of them when they whent off

1. IT’S A BOMB EGG - it’s not an M-80
2. Crimping the ends creates friction, this alone could ignite the power. Black powder when crushed can, and usually will ignite because crystals in it shatter and crate a lot of heat energy.
3. If this exploded, and you used fresh or powerful powder, little metal shards would go everywhere likely in you..
4. Very illegal
Dec 04, 2006 5:39 am - you all havent even tried this. i was even going to make an egg on it but you beat me to it. and btw there is very little shrapnel. i use aluminium piping from a hobby shop and it worked very well. just cut up some matchhead powder and add striker powder. oh and it never EVER blows up from crimping it. and i know that because even with matchhead powder when mixed with striker powder makes it friction sensitive. you can get it more stronger then black powder depending on how much you add. and this egg gets a 5* from me because they work great. even though i was gonna make an egg of this

All flash comps. are different, but why risk using flash when BP is only a little bit weaker? BP creates gasses, while flash only creates solid products. The flash I am speaking of is 70/30 potassium perchlorate/aluminum.

Dec 04, 2006 11:49 pm - no shrapnal its metal. it will only spil. i tried this and it was loud as fucking hell. it didn’t even split, the ends all unfolded and ripped open. no shrapnal at all. i then ran out of metal tube and tried pvc pipe.
i am trying to pull little blobs of molten plastic off my arm. i also have several shards of the shit in my leg. conclusion, metal is louder and safer.

Obviously you know jack shit. Black powder is just potassium nitrate/charcoal/sulfur, it much harder to do than just that. You have to use a proper ratio, then use a reactive charcoal, and then ball mill it. The only reason your "black powder" is making a small pop is because you’re a dumb ass, black powder when made properly will be much louder and stronger than flash. Flash is faster so will have more of a high pitched boom while BP is slower so will SEEM louder than flash.

Dec 06, 2006 7:50 am - if anyone is concerned about shrapnel or black powder not being strong enough to break the mettal use a light strength aluminium mettal. i just cut the barrel off my BB machine gun. the mettal is just too light to caus any damage and if you put duct tape around it it will stop any shrapnel anyway. but still keep a good 8 meters away. mine have been able to blow up with only matchhead powder mixed with striker powder. can in fact get powerfull that stuff
