Making a small object shooter with household items

Well this is how you make this shooter:
You Need These Items:

1. Any type of plastic bottle (preferably a Gatorade bottle because it is wider at the top)
2. A rubber band
3. A balloon
4. Scissors

Ok first off you need to get your plastic bottle and cut off the top of your bottle. You’ll be using that for this. Make sure you take the cap off of the bottle. Next you need to cut off about 1 inch from the balloon (where you blow air into the balloon). Once you cut the top off of the balloon, you stretch your balloon over the cut off bottle leaving some excess ballon behind the top of your bottle. It needs to be stretched and placed over the little orange ring if you’re using a Gatorade bottle.

Now you put the rubber band around the balloon so it squeezes the balloon to the bottle top. Make sure it is really tight.

Ok you just made the shooter and here’s how you use it. Find something small like rocks or marbles (pens and pencils work great too). Place whatever you’re shooting inside of your shooter. Hold the shooter in one hand, and pull back whatever you’re shooting and the balloon in your other hand. MAKE SURE YOUR PULLING THE OBJECT AND THE BALLOON BACK BECAUSE THE ITEM WILL NOT GO FAR, IF ANYWHERE.

Also another tip is not to pull the balloon too far back because it will rip and then you’ll be screwed. This launches things very far and fast so be careful. It does hurt a lot when you get shot with a pencil from 30 feet away. Have fun and enjoy. Sorry I don’t have a digital camera, so you can just ask me if you have any problems. –BigChad-

l0l we do that with a peice of bamboo and the finger off a rubber glove. we call them joey guns here in new zealand. we use little berry things and the hurt real good almost like paint ball
