This pranks is one i did at walmart. I used the PSP’s Infrared capabilities to control almost all the tvs at walmart. I just changed the channels and stuff and turned all the volumes to the highest they will go. In this egg i will show you how to do this yourself and get a great laugh as the employees go crazy turning the tvs down or off. if they do then turn them back on and volume up with your psp.
Stuff you need:
PSP version 1.5 required
A Brain
You need to download these programs/files:
IRshell 3.0
Prontocodes13.zip
you can just google them to get them
Once you get all the stuff and files you need install IRshell onto your psp nad install the files off the file "prontocodes13.zip" onto your psp (the files have instructions on how to do this). When this is all done open up irshell on your psp and then look at the upper right corner of ur screen. select the icon thats the top row and the 5th in the top row (left to right) named "ir remote view". press x to go into it.
you will see a list of the brands of tvs , dvd players, and other stuff to be controlled. find a tv u want to control in walmart and see its brand name. click on the brand name on the list in ur psp and select one of the names in the list .you will see some commands for the tv and what buttons to press. you might have to go back and choose another tv from the list until your tv in walmart is being controlled. just be sure to point the psp towards the tv and it will work fine. I can control my whole living room with my psp thanks to this handy thing.
I hope anyone who tries this it will work for them cause its a shitload of fun when you get everyone goin crazy . Happy pranking

Infected mushroom, you cant control control a computer with ur psp unless you have a hole bunch of stuff set up just right.
I also controlled walmarts tv’s with my palm pilot

psp i brought my pda. when we were watching a movie on the day before thanksgivin break i started jackin with the tv turning it up and on and off the teacher turned it down tinking it was a bad remote and i kept turning it back up it was funny.
Dec 05, 2006 7:10 pm - id recommend googling psp "2.0 to 1.5 downgrader" and downgrade ur psp to 1.5 , then google devhook and read about it and put it on ur 1.5 psp and then u can ply all ur games that need new firmware and have up to firmware 3.01 features and still have the ability to run all the cool homebrew stuff u can run on 1.5 but you can run it but you need to google on running irshell on a 2.0 psp

optimous:i think most palm pilots will work for this. i dont know how much they cost cause i got mine for free and our walmart stopped carrying them so i dont know the price
Dec 07, 2006 5:16 pm - i did what u did when i got my psp i had to wait for a downgrade cause i upgraded from version 1.52 to 2.6 and had to wait. now i got fw1.5 but with a handy little program called devhook i can also use firmware 2.8 and then i can run iso’s i downloaded
